Our Assassin Snails range in size between 1/4 - 1/2 inch in length. Within just a few weeks 5-10 assassins will completely rid a 15-20 gallon aquarium of unwanted pest snails. The assassin snail is small, easy to keep and completely harmless toward fish, shrimp, and aquarium plants. They're charcoal brown wrapped in a yellow stripe providing an eye-catching contrast in a planted tank. But don't let its beauty fool you. Assassins will eat virtually any snail that crosses its path.

Orange Isopods (Porcellio, scaber) are a great addition to your terrarium/vivarium ecosystem as they serve multiple functions. They clean their environment by consuming leaf litter, animal f***s, and dead plant material and their waste is a valuable source of nutrients for your plants. They're great high calcium snacks for amphibians, lizards and other terrarium pets alike. They're also extremely active and fun to watch.

Sweetgum Tree Balls are the empty seed pods of the Sweetgum tree. They make excellent hides for isopods and are a beautiful addition to your vivarium. Their spiky exterior provides an extra level of protection from larger predators. Isopods will also use them as a supplemental food source as they begin to decay. They’re 100% organic and pesticide free.

Freshwater Scuds (gammarus,sp) are widely considered the best live food for freshwater aquarium fish such as Cichlids, Oscars, Loaches, Bettas, Mollies, Tetras, and Puffers. They breed rapidly and require no special food or water treatments.
They’re omnivores feeding on left over fish food, algae, fish fesses and organic matter in and around their habitat
It’s also widely believed that they bring out the colors of their predators. There are no better algae eaters than Scuds and they will quickly devour all algae in their habitat.

Dwarf Purple (Costa Rican) Isopods are the smallest isopods available in the hobby today with adults reaching a maximum length of 1/8”. These smooth, hard bodied, isopods will spend most of their time below or at the surface of the soil and will reproduce quickly once established in your setup.

Dwarf White Isopods are parthenogenesis, meaning females give birth to more females without the need to mate. They also prefer a moister setup than most isopods and while omnivores; they show more interest in meaty foods such as fish flakes than other species.
