Kai has been voted MVP of The Pug Ranch! 🏈❤️🐾 He is a handsome senior gentleman at 10-12 years old. Kai just wants a cool, hip retirement home to call his own. He has some pep in his step and is all up to date with his vet needs, including a recent dental! He is even good with his house training. 🙌🏻

They are doing great, still in quarantine and bored out of their mind. Only one more week to be safe! But special thanks to Christine for some goodies from our Amazon wish list. New toys were the key to happiness for them tonight!!

Bo & Mandi Marie update!! They are both doing so good. Yesterday they turned a corner and both are eating, feeling great and big news… solid poop. Lol 😂
When you have Parvo, and he was super sick and hospitalized - this was his biggest issue along with not eating. This is huge. 🙌🏻😜🤦🏻♀️
He is such a good boy that he is paper trained, so it’s making it so much easier so I don’t have to take him outside and have a special spot to go potty. With all of the protocols.
Mandi Marie is doing great except testing positive on Wednesday and she also got the monoclonal antibody for Parvo and we were able to take her home because she was actually doing OK.
Believe it or not, Marley, Bo’s sister tested negative Saturday and she has remained that way with no symptoms. We are super thankful for that as she finishes her quarantine period & will get spayed next week. She then will go to a “foster to adopt” home from our waiting approved applications.
This week is looking up! 🎉 And don’t forget tomorrow is our first of the month Pug play date. Saturday 10-12pm at the North Domingo Baca Dog park in ABQ. We meet in the small dog side. 🙌🏻🐾
Today’s updates….
Welcome Archie!! He was an owner surrender today in Las Cruces as his elderly human has to move in an assisted living facility. 🙏🏻🥹 The family is trusting us to find his best forever home. He is 4 yrs old, neutered and the goodest of good boys. He will be available for adoption! He has a beautiful panda pug face. 🤩❤️ Thank you to Becky for fostering this hunk.
We also got 3 dogs in their homes today! Baya, Mandy Moon and also Zoey/Pooey who we were helping temporarily foster for 4 months.
AND…. Wait for it, we got another pug a young 7 month old brindle boy pug tonight… Photos coming!!
Bo was perkier this am, but is struggling tonight in the hospital so please keep the prayers coming. 🙏🏻 And Marley his sister has ringworm too. Ugh! However she is doing well tonight with her foster Larissa and active, eating, feeling good! We got this as we always do!! 🙌🏻❤️🙏🏻
Bo update! 1/27
Bo update!!! I went over to Western Trails today to visit Bo and we brought them out to my car so I could spend some time with him and see if I could perk up his spirits and get him to eat!!
Thankfully after an hour he did finally eat a little, so that is progress!! He still needs all of your prayers as we’re trying to get to the bottom of what else might be going on with him besides the Parvo. He did get the monoclonal antibody shot on Saturday. We are still testing for all of the things to try and rule anything else out.
His sister Marley is doing OK. She is negative for Pavo, but she does have ringworm and so she is isolated as well right now with the amazing Larissa.
This hasn’t stopped anything that we’re doing as yesterday 3 dogs (Baya, Mandy and Zoey/Poey) went into their homes. And two more came in too! A 4 yr old panda pug boy Archie and 7 month old brindle boy Dante. Photos coming!!!
We also checked on several pugs in shelters across New Mexico. The older boy in Clovis is safe. A pug in Roswell is ok as his owners are reclaiming him. A cute young boy pug in Portales is available on Thursday and has several interested parties. A pug boy in Los Lunas got reclaimed by his owners on Friday. And lastly, there is a pug at the ABQ east side shelter that just came in yesterday that we’re watching. There’s no photo yet.
Huge, thank you to several volunteers who helped us check out these boys in the shelters. It takes the village and we’re so grateful. Update! It’s late but we just got home from the vet 12:30am.
Ironically Marley’s Parvo test is negative. 🙏🏻 However, so was Bo’s 2 days ago and she is not feeling well at all so it might be too early like Bo. She got subq fluids and anti nausea and will be isolated to watch her closely. She also has a huge abscess on her face.
Unfortunately, Bo declined quickly tonight. 😨😢😢 He got the monoclonal antibody Parvo shot, but his symptoms are rapidly worsening this evening. He is hospitalized and I pray he makes it through the night. We are still running tests to try to rule out any thing else going on causing his decline.
Please pray for these sweet babies as they don’t deserve any of this and we are doing everything to fight for them! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Good news!!!! Baya had a GREAT meetup today & found her home. 🏠 🎉 Plus, thanks to all of you and wishes for my birthday. We are able to cover her surgery cost!!
