In honor of Veteran's Day, I wanted to promote my grandfather's WWII memoirs that my sister Val recently wrote out and published! While we were aware of some of the basic stories of Grandpa's work overseas, Val was able to uncover so many hidden treasures including his part in the liberation of concentration camp Dachau, when a N**i nurse stitched his injuries up, and the secret coded letters he had with our Grandmother.

And not to brag, but I put my art school education to use and created the cover (front and back) for the book! The nice part of doing the art myself is that I got to add two "Easter Eggs" in the design. Let me know if you see them!

One last thing, all proceeds from the book go to veteran foundations including Hope for the Heroes Project and Fort Chaffee Military and Barbershop Museum (where our grandfather trained.)
