Niagara Dog Rescue Niagara Dog Rescue is a volunteer-based registered charity, helping homeless unwanted dogs. We a foster based rescue.

This means we do not have a facility, dogs are pulled from shelters and put in to comfortable homes until they are adopted. We need fosters in Niagara Region or West GTA to love and care for the dogs we rescue until they are adopted. Each foster volunteer allows us to save one more dog and help him/her find a loving forever home. Fostering is ideal for families considering adoption but who are not

yet sure. Fostering provides them an opportunity to get to know the dog and how s/he fits in the family. This allows them to make an informed decision about a long-term adoption.

🌸 Meet Mandy 🌸

Mandy’s story is one of patience, resilience, and hope. She first arrived at the shelter in the Bahamas at just 2 years old, and now—4 years later—she’s 6 and still waiting. That’s over 1,500 days of watching other dogs find their forever families while she remains behind, overlooked for reasons no one can understand.

Despite everything, Mandy has never lost her gentle spirit. She’s warm-hearted, loving, and gets along beautifully with everyone she meets. What she longs for most is simple: a family of her own. A cozy bed, tasty treats, and maybe even a yard where she can stretch her legs would make her happiest.

After so many years of waiting, Mandy deserves her happily ever after. Could you be the one to give it to her? ❤️

To Our Valued Supporters,

We want to thank you for your continued support of our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs in need. Every adoption helps save a life, and we’re deeply grateful for your role in making that possible.

As you may know, each dog we rescue receives veterinary care, safe transportation, and loving care before finding their forever home. Due to a significant rise in veterinary costs, medical supplies, and transport expenses, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to increase our adoption fees slightly.

Starting October 1st , our new adoption fees will be:

Adult Dogs - $750

We honestly don’t understand how this gorgeous boy hasn’t been scooped up yet—because he is actually perfect. 🐾
Liam is a 1-year-old Lab mix with the gentlest soul. He’s sweet with people, kind to cats, and absolutely wonderful with dogs of all sizes—even the tiniest chis in his foster home! He plays gently, cuddles sweetly, and radiates pure love. 💕
His journey hasn’t been easy. Liam spent months in a rural shelter, underweight, sick, and even battling parvo. But this brave boy never gave up. He fought hard, healed fully, and came out the other side stronger and more loving than ever. 🌟
Now thriving in his foster home, Liam has shown us just how special he is: playful, affectionate, and endlessly loyal. He’s patiently waited 7 long months for his forever family… and we can’t figure out why.
Liam is beautiful inside and out. He’s ready to shower his people with love—he just needs someone to finally say yes. 🏡💖

At just 2 years old, Lady Harley has already endured more heartbreak than any dog ever should. She was once deeply loved, but after tragedy struck her original family, she was left in the wrong hands—neglected, starved, and forced to have puppies.
Through it all, Lady Harley never lost her gentle soul. Thankfully, she was rescued and taken to the Floyd County Animal Shelter, where she’s made an incredible transformation. Her healthy glow is back, her coat shines beautifully, and her spirit is brighter than ever. Her puppies have all been adopted—now it’s finally her turn. 💕
Lady Harley is sweet, affectionate, and well-mannered. She greets everyone with kindness and is living proof of just how forgiving and resilient dogs can be.

Found as a stray and healing from a pelvic fracture, Baja has made an incredible recovery and is now fully healed and loving life! He walks, runs, and plays like a champ — nothing slows this guy down.

With his eye-catching Chocolate Brown Brindle coat and signature goofy smile, Ravel is a certified cuddle bug and the life of the puppy party. We call him our little teddy bear because he's always down for a snuggle after zoomies.

Chardonnay, Sambuca, and Jameson are three adorable 13-week-old American Bulldog mix pups still waiting for their forever homes. Three of their siblings have already been adopted — now it’s their turn! 💕
These pups have quite the story. At just 3 weeks old, they were court-ordered to be surrendered along with the rest of the dogs in their home. Just one week later, that very house burned down due to foul play. It’s a true miracle they were saved in time. ✨
Now, these little survivors are thriving — healthy, happy, and oh-so-friendly! They love people, love to play, and are ready to bring joy, laughter, and puppy cuddles to their forever families. 🐾
