Happy happy happy birthday to the one who started it all, Daisy!!!! Miss Daisy is 11 years old today. We went to the pet store, picked up a big and little lambi, a new bed (that Juni claimed 😝) a couple of treats and a snuffle mat. Then we went for a walk and to the dog park. Overall a busy day for the princess 🥰

Happy birthday (today) and gotcha day (yesterday) Miss Paige! (aka Pager when she is barking...she "pages" us :P ) She is 13 years old today, and she got to the yard a year ago yesterday. She has so much s***k! She loves tottering around the yard, which has to be kept the same because she is mostly blind :P She can still run though! When I ask her if she wants a candy, she comes running, flawlessly finding her way to the door :D

Please spread the word! This sweet very young little boy (neutered) was found by a friend, in Warrenton. He is all black, has lots of curly hair and is as sweet as can be. He was found near US 15 in Warrenton wearing a harness and dragging a leash :-( Please share so we can find his family!! Someone out there has to be missing this sweetheart :-(

For all my pup parents, Costco is having a huge sale on these delectable dog treats! Normally I get these at Amazon because they are not available all the time at Costco, and at Amazon they are $20. Usually at Costco they are about $12, so now they are half off!!! Limit of 10, so go get them now before they are all gone again :D

Notice! Daisy;s back yard will not be taking any boarders or daycare pups on the 26th, 27th and 28th! My birthday is the 26th, and thanks to a friend/client, I have an opportunity to spend a weekend with this view! Walks on the beach, sunset and sunrise with this view, and possibly a special dinner for me Saturday night. It will be strange without any of the dogs, and with some luck I will get to sleep past 6am Sunday before coming home

The day that every pet parent dreads is here for Scrappy. After 13 years with me, being my beloved boy, moving with me to 6 different homes and helping me through some of the hardest days of my life, it is time to do the last thing I can do for him. He is 16 and doesn't eat much anymore, he has gotten sooo skinny :-( He sleeps most of the time and doesn't really enjoy anything anymore. So today at 5:30, I will help him get to the Rainbow Bridge where he can play with his buddies Stitch and Barney, and wait for me until it is my time. I will miss him...💔💔💔💔💔

Christmas dinner! Everyone got some real chicken and veggies in their bowl tonight. (I never give a full meal of stuff they don't usually get, it only upsets their tummies and makes them miserable :-( This way they get something that tastes great and no upset tummies) It was consumed in aprox. 20 seconds, even by the slow eaters, and afterwards they got to sleep it off, just like humans :P

And then there were two... :P First, an update on Daisy. She is slowly getting back to normal! Her incision is looking good, clean and dry, no sign of infection. She is eating and drinking, though not yet back to normal on those. She is only one painkillers now, and only every 12 hours so she is not as sleepy as she was.

As for Bruno, he got neutered/chipped and vaccinated yesterday! The folks at River Oaks Veterinary Clinic were so awesome with him! (it helps that Chrystal has her own Chi's... :P ) He was very talkative on the way home and most of the night due to the after effects of the anesthetic, but today he is his sweet and silly self. Just have to keep him calm for a bit yet!

Update: She's out and doing ok! I can go visit her tomorrow, but she will probably have to stay there another night.

Can I ask everyone to please send healing energies/good juju/prayers, whatever you believe in to Daisy. She is about to have surgery for a bowel obstruction and I am terrified for her....

Wow, has it really been 5 years since this guy joined the pack...?? His mom wanted to see if her kid was allergic, so she asked me to keep him for the weekend while she cleaned the house... sadly, it turned out the kid WAS allergic, and Tiger never left...He is my babysitter and puppy trainer, letting the little ones climb all over him and teaching them to play nice. Tiger actually helped raise Dixon, Nezzie and Dewey! Happy 5th gotcha day Tigy!

Everyone, meet Bruno! Does he remind you of anyone...(hint: Barney!!) This 3 year old boy needed a safe place to land after his parents had to move and couldn't bring him :-( He was totally overwhelmed last night when he met everyone, but some belly rubs, dog food and kisses and he was all good. He sticks to me like glue, never moving more then 4 feet away from me, but everyone has accepted him and he slept on the bed last night.

Lulu and Daisy are due for their shots, and my awesome vet (River Oaks Vetrinary Clinic) is having a vaccination clinic. So we are checking out all the other adorable pups and kittehs while we wait 🥰🤪😁

Slowly but surely the yard is getting cuter! Thanks to my local Neighbor to Neighbor group, I got to add a ton of butterfly stakes. Next I will start collecting dog statues etc for the little entranceway to the yard :-) Daisy is enjoying the early morning sunlight on the new swing bench pillows
