I've had lots of people adding teeth cleaning to their dogs grooms, or booking in just for teeth cleaning this month 🪥 which is amazing 😁 I love getting the dogs teeth nice and clean, and looking healthier 🦷
I use an ultrasonic toothbrush, which doesn't vibrate and theres no scrubbing involved, which is perfect for dogs 🐶 I use toothpaste and water and hold on each tooth for around 10secs (depending on what the dog allows). This helps to kill any bacteria, and softens hard tar tar on the tooth.
Once the tar tar is soft enough, it can then be flicked off!
This is an amazing result from this month, and the dog was so good at letting me do this 👇

My Story...

As a big lover of dogs, and some inspiration from my cockapoo, Lacie, I decided that I was going to study dog grooming. After completing my City and Guilds Level 2 (November 2018), I decided that going to college just wasn’t enough! I wanted to be doing this everyday! So after lots of planning, I decided to work from home. I started Happy Paws by Jemma in December 2018. I started off only bathing and drying dogs. This gave me lots of extra experience as well as meeting lots of new people and dogs! I then went back to college to complete my City and Guilds Level 3 diploma in dog grooming in January 2019. After grooming lots of dogs, completing 4 practical exams and one theory exam... I have now finished!! :)
