HALF TERM reminder

As many of you know my Mum has Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia and is in a care home just up the road from me. Mum has travelled the world; brought up three daughters single handed; drove around Europe and the UK in her Motorhome with her dogs. She is a force to be reckoned with.

Now she has no short term memory and the long term is fuzzy. And it breaks my heart to see her not able to function independently and live out her old age in her own home surrounded by her dogs.

Luckily she still recognises us and long may that last.

Beccy Ramsay and I have decided this year to walk to raise money for this Charity as you can imagine it is very close to our hearts.

It is not until June so plenty of time to build up the muscles to walk the Trek26 Brecon Beacons

If anyone would like to join us then the more the merrier.

As ever I am very grateful for any contribution in the battle to try and find a prevention or cure.
