It’s being a while but here’s a billy update 😁. Over the past month while i was riding bills he was going lame after around 30 mins of work and it was a instant lameness,however he would be totally fine the day after so we where confused at start on what could be bothering him, so we started with the saddle as i thought it was tight on his shoulders, sooo we had the saddle fitter and we found one that suit Mr bobs, we went for a dressage saddle as we’ve made the decision to retire billy from jumping as his arthritis is progressing, as gutting as it is this little pony owes me absolutely nothing and making sure he’s happy and comfortable is 100% priority, next on the list was the physio Keeley Squires Para Dressage where she found a knot in his left side of his neck (also the side that he has arthritis) She also found a swelling is his Pec muscle so that’s being treated with devils relief gel which seems to be doing the trick 🤞 on top of that his shoulder was extremely tight so she freed it all of and gave us some exercises and 6-8 weeks of rehab ❤️ he will also have a trip to the vet this week for some x-rays on his feet and some bloods to check everything is okay. He deserves the best and that is what my little man gets, even if it makes us eat sandwich for tea 😂 sorry mum 🙈 Clare Louise Bettney EH Equestrian

This month marks 9 years since my best friend, billy walked into my life. He truly is the best thing to ever happen to me and bring me so much joy every single day. Since the day we met I knew we where ment to be and go on our journey together through many ups and downs that made him stronger. I can’t thank him enough for all the lessons he has taught me and continues to do everyday, he truly is my entire heart ❤️
Forever grateful for mr bobs ❤️
My little star looking after jasmine, i really do trust him so much, and it’s nice to see our hard work come to life with other fab little riders. ❤️❤️

Where back jumping!!!
A few months ago i was cleared to jump billy, as he’s completely fine now, however i put it off as i was scared of hurting him or it setting him back, but i went for it a few weeks back and kept it really small and basic, and he was amazing and was fine the next day so that eased my worries, sooo tonight i had another go but with two fences and did it a few more times, and he was amazing, hopefully in around 2 months we will be back to normal and be able to get back out ready for summer, but there’s no rush and we are taking it at billy’s pace and doing what makes him happy, at the end of the day i never thought i would ride him again this time last year so no matter what we can do as a partnership i will be grateful ❣️❣️

@Rebbeca Jane
Yesterday i had a fab lesson with Keeley Squires Para Dressage where we worked on Billy being soft and working properly, as I tend to block him from moving forward properly. It was amazing to see a difference so quick and we have plenty to work on 💕
