🐾 𝙐𝙥𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙚! 🐾

Brooke had her follow-up appointment with the doctor on Monday, and the news couldn’t be better! 🎉 The doctor was very impressed with her progress, noting that he didn’t expect her to be doing this well for another couple of months after her recent surgery. Her range of motion is almost as good as it was before the procedure, and she’s now cleared to start going on walks. 🚶‍♀️🐕

Brooke handled the vet visit like a champ, happily greeting other dogs and people at the clinic. 🐶👋 When she got back to her foster home, she turned into the sweetest snuggler. 🥰 Her foster shared, "I’m really impressed with her ability to overcome everything she’s been through. And she’s even housebroken, too!" 🏡

We’re all so proud of you, Brooke! Keep being brave! 💪🐾

Recent Entropion Surgery: Successfully treated 🏥

Kira is an incredibly sweet girl who comes with her crate and all her essentials. She has a playful side and adores boneless wings, cozy blankets, and her favorite toys 🧸. While she isn't fond of sheep 🐑, she's shown no negative reactions to other dogs—even when growled at. However, she seems a bit too interested in cats and might chase them 🐈. Kira also has a unique personality—she enjoys the sound of motorcycles and trucks! 🏍️🚚

Kira’s owners passed 😔. Her extended family members live in an apartment and weren’t allowed to take her. They couldn’t find rescue placement since every place is full. So rather than surrendering her to a shelter, they made the hard choice to let her go peacefully. They were devastated. 😭

The vet said she was to nice of a dog. So she’s been at his office for the past 2 weeks. We are desperately trying to help find her a home!!!🏠

Hi, my name’s Lumen! I was rescued 10 years ago when I was just a little puppy, left at the shelter. Thankfully, I found my forever family, and I’m still with them today. I definitely hit the jackpot, though I might have a bit more sass than they bargained for—but they love me just the same! 😏

I’m happiest as the only dog in the house because I like my space. In my spare time, you can find me hunting in the yard 🕵️‍♀️, basking in the sun ☀️, going for car rides 🚗, and visiting my grandma and grandpa 👵👴. Life is pretty good!

🔅Waffle for Mocha!🔅

This sweet girl needs double knee surgery 😳, so we're launching a fundraiser to help her. The vet believes her injury occurred before she came to us, as there's noticeable muscle atrophy in her leg. It's likely that as a puppy, she didn't get enough exercise and was left in a crate, leading to weakened muscles. Unfortunately, poor breeding practices have also contributed to an increase in knee issues among juvenile pitties and bulldogs.

💰 Estimate is just over $5,000. We would love to sell 200 🆂🅿🅾🆃🆂! We will spin with a minimum of 100 spots gone. So please grab a few and tell your friends and family! 🙏🏼❤️

Mocha Monday ☕️🤎

This sweet 10 month old is up for adoption! Mocha had a rough start to life being kept in a garage and a crate before being posted for free on Facebook. From there went to another house that didn’t give her the attention she deserved because she “was too much”. She’s now in an amazing foster home with SAVeD.

We urgently need help finding a loving home for two bonded pups who have lost their owners. Sadly, their family members are unable to take them in, and time is running out for these sweet dogs. We know it's tough out there, but we’re hoping someone has room in their heart and home for Meiko and Lola.

Meet Meiko:
A gentle 16-year-old tan and white senior, weighing around 14 lbs. Meiko is a laid-back companion who loves to sleep and relax. Though his hearing and eyesight are fading and he occasionally has accidents, he has no major health issues. Meiko has known loss before, having lost his brother five years ago. To fill the void, his family brought Lola into his life, and they've been inseparable ever since.

Meet Lola:
Lola is an 11-year-old black and white cutie, also about 14 lbs. She’s a bit more active than Meiko, enjoying the occasional romp in the yard, but she’s still a big fan of naps. Lola is currently recovering from a ruptured a**l gland, and she’s on a special urinary care diet due to a blockage a couple of years ago. Despite these challenges, she's doing well and just needs a loving environment to thrive.

Both Meiko and Lola are up-to-date on their shots, great with kids, and get along well with other dogs. They’ve never been around cats, so that’s unknown. Because they’ve been through so much together, we’re hoping to find them a home where they can stay together.

If you have room in your home for two senior dogs who just need a little extra love and care, please reach out. They may not have much time, but we believe there's a perfect home out there for them. Let’s give Meiko and Lola the chance to spend their golden years together in a place filled with love.

Just wanted to let you know a little something going on at SAVeD Every rescue is full, every rescue needs more funds! Starting a spay and neuter program is so badly needed. Donations are the only way for us to stay operational. So we got creative! I started a side hustle and am donating all my commissions to starting a spay and neuter program! The first party landed enough commission to cover 3 spay/neuters. I was blown away! If you’d like to be someone that helps this program. You can just book an online party, of course there are beautiful free things for you! I know it sounds crazy but you can really help control the pet population. I was a little worried about diving in but felt I needed to try. I hope you’ll try and help get dogs spayed and neutered! Guess the side hustle from the pics. As always we appreciate your support and donations. This is another way to get involved with SAVeD!
