With wind chills at or near 0*F recently and coming up, it's important to ensure you're ready for winter for your furry friends! Be prepared for power outages, make sure they have a warm cozy place they'll be safe and have enough supplies on hand!

Most shelters and rescues in the area are at or near capacity and this time of year only makes the issue worse, so if you're looking for a new friend, consider adopting some of the great felines and canines who are just looking for their furever home :)

๏ฟฝThis brave momma found herself at animal control, heavily pregnant and in desperate need of a miracle. Just two days later, she gave birth to her puppies, and that's when ๐‘บ๐‘จ๐‘ฝ๐’†๐‘ซ ๐‘น๐’†๐’”๐’„๐’–๐’† answered the call. Animal control is no place for newborns, so we quickly scooped up Lolli and her little ones.๐Ÿถ

Lolli gave birth to eight beautiful puppies, but sadly, not all survived. We lost sweet Twix that night, and little Clark passed away a week later. ๐Ÿ’”๐ŸŒˆ

Once Lolli settled into her foster home, it became clear something wasnโ€™t right. She seemed unwell, and two emergency vet visits revealed the cause: a severe uterine infection that required immediate spaying. However, she also had a serious case of pneumonia, which had to be treated before she could safely undergo surgery. With antibiotics and the incredible care of her foster family, Lolli fought through every challenge. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ

Today, Lolli is the picture of resilience. Despite everything sheโ€™s been through, she has the sweetest, most gentle personality and adores her babies. She craves love and attention and gives it right back tenfold. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ• Lolli is ready for her forever home and would thrive as part of a family that cherishes her as much as she deserves.

We were thrilled to have John from Better Life Dog Training step in to help one of our amazing fosters with her pups! Excessive barking and over-the-top excitement were turning her home into chaosโ€”definitely not ideal, especially with foster dogs coming and going.
