I learned of the durability of fire hose when I read an article about the tiger habitat at America's Teaching Zoo at Moorpark Community College. The article explained how a large toy was built for the Tigers, using fire hose. I began building prototypes and tested them on my dogs, friends' dogs, and rescue organization dogs. The Thomas Fire in 2017 accelerated the urgency when I saw how much fire

hose is used in a large brush fire and that hose is eventually slated for disposal. Fast forward to 2019, the e-commerce store for Doghoztoyz was launched: https://doghoztoyz.com
