On August 8, 1935, this is Louisa Cudd in a swimsuit in Florida, "Doc's" wife and her niece Josephine Sapp. Now 4 years ago, I spoke to Josephine on the phone. Her age was 97 and clear thinking. I mailed her photos of herself Doc took. The family had never seen them before. The Sapp's were related to the Gouge's. Sapp Florist is STILL in Waycross, Georgia at the orginial home of Josephine. I sent photos of the home to the family.

Vird O'Dell Cudd- born in Lockhart Union, South Carolina to Henry Stephen Cudd & Lenora Victoria Cudd on December 16, 1875. He was 1 of 12 children. He died in Monmouth, Il in 1964. He married Louisa Gouge and she was born April 2, 1880 and died April 23, 1964. The gravesite is located near the entrance of Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth, Il. They had 3 children. one died at birth, and 2 sons; Glenn Cudd & Bruce Cudd. "Doc" as he was known to many, traveled the US and documented his photos with place and dates. He was a pioneer in the field of Vet medicine and travel the World's fair. Here on this page, I will post the 100's of items I have to share with all who are related or interested. Please correct me with any mistakes and add people, photos or information you may have. Feel free to save and print anything.
