Dress made in dead stock fabric, or shall I say dresses, there are two of them and they are available at Livets Krydder here at Kirkenær...or can be ordered directly from Valkyria, of course.
I wanted to let this wonderfull vintage microplissè quality float around the figure. To make it echo even more of something live and organic it is crocheted a lang feather that followes the curves of the neckline.

Skirt in tartan with a high waistline, pockets and nice details like tartan buttons.
Actually I was inspired to make it from the nice buttons I found in my favorite specialist shop for sewing accessories in corso San Gottardo in the south of Milano.

Some of my regular good night sleep exchanged with espresso, and I made time for sewing a very green dress for one of my great costumers. This pictures showes some details of the sleeves.
My customer said she would like to send me pictures when she is wearing it, so until then...
She says she is in love with her new dress and that it passed the judgement of her grandmother.

This is the weirdest special order I have ever got. The person who ordered it has had a huge job. First he had to convince me that he was not joking, and then he had to wait til it was done.
Now it is done, I like how it looks.

This uniform is made especially on request.
It needed to be romantic and oldfashion in a new way.
It is patchwork with freehand embroidery with sewingmachine after an illustration by Valkyria. The young goats from the illustration are from the herd that delivers milk for all the great food that is served on this unique cafè with the most spectacular wiew I have seen from any cafè.
