I found some pics of Armani's Sire / Rocket's grandsire, Roka 7 Rolex, I hadn't seen before when Rolex was a pup/ younger dog. I've had the Dog Fancier's one.
There was another of him winning first time out in the ring, but it didn't save to share.

3rd Pick of Beauty's chocolate females is RESERVED. 4th pick is left which will likely be one of the larger females from what it sounds like based upon everyone's preferences.

So, we will have 1 chocolate female avail (sounds like a larger one).

2 black males (someone is contemplating reserving Comet).

And (2) chocolate males.

All READY DEC 24TH. If that day is bad weather wise we will try to schedule for Dec 23rd pickups.

Puppies going out this afternoon. All doing GREAT!.
Will get better pics and videos later but the one crying was Dolly. She wants a human friend / playmate badly!

FYI our next group of puppies won't be until May - July.

There may be one or two that would give us mid April to Mid May puppies but my guess is more towards end of May / early June and early July.

But I'll keep everyone posted!

We woke up super early this am. Hoping to get everything done to get some photos and especially videos of Prada's puppies and Yikka !

We have some vet visits today. We will likely be breeding Lil Godiva this week for an April litter.

HINT: They will be ready just in time for Easter!
All chocolate. We have 4 on our Spring Waiting List. 3 of whom who will take chocolate. But I think one needs a late May / June litter. So I belive 2 are reserved already for this particular litter.

The mysterious respiratory illness found in some States was identified as Strep Zoo. It's commonly found in cattle, horses, goat, (unpasteurized milk products) and in pigs, but rarely causes disease in those animals, according to a few articles I've read.

So if isolated dogs caught this, this likely came from people feeding their dogs raw diets, including raw milk products (which dogs should not have had). Many breeders also use cow's milk (pasteurized or even unpasteurized to fatten puppies up to make them look English or plump). Which isn't good for them.

But my guess is people started feeding raw milk to their dogs and over time the bacterium made its way into the canine respiratory tract.

They are now saying that it can be treated with antibiotics which is a major plus should a dog get it. But because it gets bad very quickly, they need immediate vet care so don't wait as it progresses quickly without antibiotics.

It's rampant in some shelters... Not reported in Ohio yet but neighboring States. So just be cautious when having your dog out and about around other dogs (I would limit it).

I screen-shotted some of the comments on how other breeders treat their stud dogs. I'm honestly appalled. Thread was how do other breeders handle the male while female is in heat. These were the replies - all from breeders.

All these practices border cruelty.

So,some ask why we are so expensive. Well one of many reasons is that I made a separate area that shares no house venting and spent $8K on a mini duct system for AC / heat and raised flooring VS spending $5 to stick Vics Vapo Rub under their noses. If people don't have a proper way to take care of a stud dog, they shouldn't be breeding.

Only a handful of breeders said they sent then to boarding or at a neighbors or they had a camper for them... which is better than drugging them w benadryl and CBD oil.

Comet getting a sponge bath before going back to area. Comet is a jet black puppy but apparently looks chocolate in pictures!? There was one when it was born I said may be an extremely dark chocolate. You could only know by looks if the nose is liver vs thoroughly black. But taking him through photoexpress couldn't change him back 2 black, but this pup seriously looks jet black in person.

Anyway, all of Beauty's puppies got a warm up sponge bath bc they swam in their cold water bowl. So we got them dried and warmed back up at midnight. And did not get pics of the rest bc trying to get them all done as they were wet and cold. They are little sweethearts

Someone came to look at our adults for future puppy and they definitely are getting a pup from them next year.

We tried to pawn Chips off to them (they loved him ) but not ready for a pup just yet.

So, hopefully, they will post (HINT HINT) how adorably sweet Chips is so it's not just our word. He is truly a GEM! And for a pup... absolutely wonderful.

Chips just loves EVERYBODY! And his mannerisms are just tooooo cute!

Pupdate! On Lucky, black female from Prada x Rocket

Lucky, who is now Lily, is settling in well! We are loving our sweet pup and all of her cuddles! She is doing so great in her crate at night and always lets us know when she needs to go.
