THIS IS STILL AVAILABLE! Will take $75 if I have to. Looks a little rough but it works fine and would be good as a starter rack or for a little extra space.

THIS IS STILL AVAILABLE!
Baby rack - 13 tiers that hold 3 six quart tubs (for a total of 39 spaces). 1 column the heat tape doesn't work but the other 2 do. Our room is mostly ambient so it didn't matter but replacing it would be easy and not costly. The heat tape that is on it will come with it. The thermostat will not. I can include a few tubs if needed but not filling the whole thing. I will remove the snakes and stuff on it and give it a cleaning before it goes.
$150
Prefer not to meet for this one since it won't fit in the car. It is 6ft tall and almost 2ft wide. Pickup is in Pearson.
Our updated list...
I'm motivated to move em and that means willing to make reasonable deals. A lot of these will also be at our show in October, sans the adults.
Please do not inquire in the comments. Message us for questions.
Thanks!
Hi everyone!
This little girl is special needs. She is doing excellent so far and has eaten 4 times, without any problems or need for assist. She's so far had no issues p**ping or shedding.
If she continues to do well for the next month or so, I will likely be putting her up for adoption. This will be *no cost.* However, I will be vetting who she goes to more than normal. She will not be shipped. I would prefer her to go to someone who has had ball pythons before. She is not a throw away snake. She is a beautiful little girl and as long as she continues to do well and show no sign of suffering, I would like her to go to a pet home to be loved.
If you think you might need her, please let us know. We can talk.
I took a grumpy Illidan out and also Alex so we could make a video. I'll make another one when he's out of shed 🤦

This is only a little over a month away! I hope to see familiar faces there ❤️
Employee of the month
Shere Khan has been flirting with this big girl for awhile now and I think thanks to the changing in season we might be finally starting to see some action 👀 With blood pythons, you have to leave the boys with the girl much more often than you do with ball pythons (similar to breeding boas). They are separated for feeding time and a few days rest periodically. The more time he's spent with her, the more he "hangs out" on or next to her. They always look so content, but I guess who really knows what they're thinking. I've been observing them closely as this is our first time breeding one of our blood pythons! Shere Khan is brave 🫣
On another note, this blood python has been with us for like 2 years almost at this point and I've never named her 🤔 What do you guys think? I name my bloods after peppers. What's a nice big orange pepper so we can name her finally??
And yes, this is a hybrid breeding. Our first. A lot of consideration went into this prior and this cross is known to be healthy and compatible (they're both similar enough - I'm not as big of a fan of hybrids involving snakes with very different lifestyles). I think we will make some exceptionally interesting looking animals and I'm very excited. If it is successful, we will be transparent about everything 🥰 You will always know what you are getting from us.
Shere Khan is a black pastel yellowbelly HRA leopard het pied, clown, and albino.
The blood python is a tomato bomb, which is a form of t+ albino. This will not be compatible with the form of albino Shere Khan carries. It is a bit irrelevant to my goals, though I will say, every single het tomato bomb snake I've worked with has been exceptional compared to your typical normal blood python. So maybe that will enhance the babies further. We will see... Hopefully!

We have these two rabbits we would like to put into different homes. One is our breeder male we are retiring to replace with his son. He is able 2-2.5 and a New Zealand. He has done great as a breeder.
The other is a female Dutch. We haven't bred her. She would make a good pet with some handling. She's 1.5 years old. We just have no need for her. We need the cage space.
Local or meet only.
I don't know why I even turn my incubator off anymore...
We brought in a small collection from a friend about a month ago. They're still in quarantine. I didn't expect to be buying a pregnant snake, but nevertheless... 👀😱❤️
Mom is a banana. She had 3x locks with a banana calico butter from what I was told.1x lock with a mojave. Hopefully the eggs will do well. Mom is looking good and was so kind letting me take the eggs. We will work on getting her onto food soon.
Here's to October babies!
Some more snakes we have ready to go!
Almost all of our boas have had 5+ meals and are ready to go. We only have normal het Kahls available, but we have a few of both sexes and they have a lot of variety in appearance. We are motivated to move not only these, but other snakes as well. Please inquire if you are looking for anything ❤️ We have a LOT of ball pythons of all ages and many morphs. We still have one Kenyan sand boa. And we have one or two blood pythons.
A few snakes looking for other places to p**p 👀
The basic ways to tell if your snake is healthy and doing well in its environment. I could get into a LOT more detail with this, but this is just meant to be an overview.
We work with a lot of non native species, but it's really fun to see native species as well. Living in the swamp grants a lot of opportunity to do so. This baby garter snake was traveling through the grass and I was lucky enough to spot it. These guys are gorgeous. We have a larger one that sometimes hangs out under John's workshop. There are a lot of beautiful snakes in Georgia.
Hi my Hydras.
I've got it set up where we show up like this on Google now. If anyone has had good experiences or purchased from us, I would very much appreciate if you'd leave a review by looking us up on Google and leaving a rating ❤️ Reviews can mean a ton for a business and we treasure each one! I always encourage you to leave a review with any small business you have dealt with. And if I've missed reviewing any I've dealt with, please let me know!
Make sure you're prepared for the wrath of nature.
Stay safe!
The clutch we hatched for my father in law has shed! Beautiful little babies. There was no pied, but still, pretty and healthy looking animals. I think the sire was a banana cinnamon pied and the mom was a normal het pied. Looks like there's a gorgeous cinnamon with nice markers, a handsome banana, and two normals. Het pied really makes snakes extra beautiful.
I think the Aztec gene adds a little spice 😂
I have a snake to save for so I'm motivated to move some so I can get him 🥳 These are some I've gotten recent pictures of, but I'll try to get updated pictures of everything else we have ready soon.
*Some of the boas may need one more meal
Hold on tight!
. But not too tight, please.

This guy is gorgeous. I can't wait to see what we can do with him. He's been sitting quietly to the side for awhile while I plot. But I hope this season we can get him to earn his keep 😆
We will be going up to get our baby boas in less than 2 weeks. Until then, I get to watch them be adorable and spicy through videos from our friends at Mighty Morph Exotics 🥹 This collaboration has been super fun and I think we're all excited about the outcome. These boas aren't any groundbreaking morphs, but they're from wonderful handleable and healthy parents, they are beautiful, they are lively, and they're one of my favorite species to keep. I couldn't ask for a better first litter, with the help of our friends 🥰 I can't wait to get up there and pick our keeper! Remember, boas (along with some other snake species) give live birth. We had to wait 100 days after her ovulation (where the female swells really big, it only last a short time but this tells you that they've taken and are pregnant) before she gave birth to all of these little ones. No eggs to stare at in the incubator. We just kept watching the boa get bigger.. and bigger .. And bigger 😂
Doing some work in the snake room today, including some deep cleaning. I love the look of fresh cypress 🥰
Why just throw the dust out when you can use it 👀 This is an experiment I'm working on right now because I'm tired of wasting the dust in the bags of rat feed. Sometimes there's barely any, but sometimes there's a lot! I'm mixing about 3.5 cups of the dust with 2 eggs to help bind and then enough water that, when mixed, the stuff will clump in your hand without just crumbling or without leaking (like when prepping vermiculite). Then you want to bake it (right now I'm doing 350°) until it's dry. Any moisture, and it'll mold before long. I might eventually try this with seeds mixed in... That would be a great weekly treat for them!!
The Demolisher enjoying some pellets! It's so nice when their sense of smell develops and we can have a break from raising/harvesting live food! It still gets it as a treat here and there though.
A few of our grow out female rats. We're starting to get such gorgeous production due to our selective breeding. Our preference leans towards gray and white, as you can probably tell! Can't wait to see what we can do next with them. That gray one with white on her face is probably one of my favorite looking rats I've ever hatched 😍
Want your business to be the top-listed Pet Store/pet Service?
Hydra’s Den Exotics was founded with the intent to be a constantly evolving and developing project- much like life itself. The goal is to breed a variety of interesting animals, strive for quality, seek the best care techniques, and ultimately, educate people on these creatures. You cannot change an entire culture overnight, but at the Den, the aim is to spread the love of critters that many people want to automatically fear- to teach them that there is more enrichment to be gained from accepting animals of all varieties, rather than rejecting them. The focus will be lizards, snakes, axolotls, and insects.
