Illidan seems to be adjusting to his cage upgrade. I was a little worried how he would handle it after so long in his other enclosure; this one is fairly different. However, I think he's getting used to it pretty well. He's eaten and had a good shed and is thermoregulating. All good signs. Woohoo!

Hydra’s Den Exotics

Hydra’s Den Exotics was founded with the intent to be a constantly evolving and developing project- much like life itself. The goal is to breed a variety of interesting animals, strive for quality, seek the best care techniques, and ultimately, educate people on these creatures. You cannot change an entire culture overnight, but at the Den, the aim is to spread the love of critters that many people want to automatically fear- to teach them that there is more enrichment to be gained from accepting animals of all varieties, rather than rejecting them. The focus will be lizards, snakes, axolotls, and insects.
