Hey everyone! I hope you guys are all having a wonderful weekend!! Forgive me for having to do these begging for help posts every so often, but these babies are costing me a small fortune. It’s costing about $400-500 a month to feed them, their prevention and meds so it’s really difficult when I have to pay large vet bills in top of that. I am way overextended financially at the moment😞 I am attaching copies of our recent vet invoice for Bub’s, Blanca’s and Freya’s (warty girl) first injection of three to treat their heartworms. All 3 are high positive and have to be treated to keep them from developing serious complications that could kill them. Everything helps. I have a big unruly pack 😂I don’t blame him for being nervous. I have permanently installed gates like this all over my house and have found it’s an easy way to safely acclimate them. I have been feeding #Bubs for about a month but he was getting skinnier and skinnier. When I pulled in to feed him yesterday, he was approaching on of the people who live in the neighborhood..for food or love, no aggression at all and they were kicking at him and throwing stuff at him.💔💔I had to get him out of there. I woke up this morning to a short term foster offer❤️🙏🏻❤️ and I picked him up and got him to vet. He has hookworms and heart worms of course😔 got his vaccines, chipped, dewormer, doxy to start heartworm treatment, monthly protection and bravecto. He’s scared but sooo sweet. He didn’t know what to make of car and it was obvious he had never walked on tile as he kept sliding and was afraid to walk. But he got through it and we’re back home now. He’s starting to give me tail wags and pulls my hand back towards him when I stop petting him❤️🥹still need longer term foster or adopter. Will arrange transport. #Blanca is gaining confidence everyday with the support of the pack. She has been exploring more of the house with them. 🥰🥰still skittish around us but she is coming up and sniffing our hands now and she doesn’t fully run all the way away when we make moves towards her 😂😂I’ll take it as a huge victory. Any guesses on what breeds make up this lil beauty? Someone sent us a couple dna tests so I’m definitely gonna do one on her😁 I am still in awe at #Freya’s transformation. Physically and personality wise❤️From a warty, stinky pup who was so withdrawn and scared, trying to survive on the streets, to this perfect beauty with the sweetest, playful personality 🥰🥰🥰 We are planning to start her heartworm treatment this week and are currently seeking a foster home within a couple hours drive from Houston while she waits for her furever family. I will pay for all food, supplies and vetting. As some of you know, she ended up with me because her foster mom’s home was destroyed by Hurricane Beryl😔. The timing wasn’t great as we had already decided we had to bring #Blanca, her pack mate from the streets, home with us because we could no longer afford to pay to keep her in boarding as we ran out of donations. Plus we have our 3 big dogs. It’s a LOT. Nearly 400 pounds of dogs in my teeny home downtown😅 So if you can foster this lovely little pupper or if you’re interested in adopting her (I can arrange transport to other states for the right adopter), comment and send me a message. In the meantime, if anyone has anything to spare, her heartworm treatment will be $400-500 and it would be amazing if I could raise that. I am spread so thin financially right now between keeping my commitment to these 5 I have plus the 20-30 that I feed everyday. Every penny is so very appreciated ❤️🙏🏻❤️

🆘🆘🆘 Hey everyone, I have terrible news. #Freya’s lovely foster mom lost her home from Beryl 💔 (collage pic is her home💔💔💔). This lady is a saint and had 12-13 dogs when this happened. Of course she can’t continue to foster all these animals right now so we have to find Freya another foster or adopter. They took some of the fosters to boarding in Willis, Freya is there but it’s an outdoor facility and I can’t afford to keep her there anyway. I still am paying $700 a month for her pack mate Blanca, to be in boarding and I’m not a rescue. I’m just a person who didn’t want to see something bad to these dogs. Veronica was a godsend for Freya. She was so sick with those warts and Veronica helped her through 2 surgeries and now she is completely healed!❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻 I know it’s bad in Houston right now, I can figure it out until everything is back to normal if I have a committed foster or adopter for her for sure. Prefer local to Houston but will transport out of state for right adopter. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and plays with Veronica’s dogs without issue. Veronica said she is super sweet and housebroken, crate trained. I will supply food and supplies for foster. If you are able to donate, every penny helps.
