Happy Thanksgiving guys!

Just a couple of updates...

The bad news... Lesson season is officially closed out for the 2022 season. Looks like our biggest banes (cold/bad weather and lack of daylight) have descended upon us fully.

The good news... Della has her first book published! Check out the details below:

Had another good ride with this handsome gentleman! I've been trying to get some good photos of him tacked up, but he'd rather follow me around like a puppy 🤷‍♀️

This handsome fella is looking for a new pasture!

Tripp is a well educated grade ranch type gelding in his mid-teens. He's got a good mind and some motor. He hasn't offered a single bad thought under saddle in the last 45 days of legging up I've done with him. At some point in his life he spent some time as a working ranch horse, as evidenced by his forward personality, cool brand, and nice handle.

I've tried hard to find something that'll startle him, and he just isn't bothered by a whole lot. The only quirks I've found with Tripp is he pins his ears while first cinching up. This behavior has gotten less and less every ride and he's never offered anything more than that.

Its been a great summer of riding and lessons. We're beginning to get the season wrapped up for the year. There's one more show planned for the year and we're eagerly awaiting Miss Della's baby still (she's due any second now).

It's been a miserable day outside, but I'm thrilled to have this handsome hunk move in and to get him settled. Its turning into spotted horse central around here, and I'm completely fine with that! 😍

Hey guys! Lesson season update!

The weather is starting to even out and I'm getting a lot of calls and messages about riding lessons. However, I'm working during the week until 5, so if you're eager to get a hold of me and are able, feel free to text me (419-961-3979). That being said, I don't have many openings for new students this year and may not be able to open enrollment to new students at all depending on scheduling. I promise, I'm doing my best to get everyone squeezed in between training horses and full time job.

So... everyone knows I love me a cadillac of a little red horse. And that's exactly what Noble is! She likes to kiss the camera so I haven't gotten a picture of her facing me with her ears up... Noble is here to get legged up for summer trail riding and we're having a blast doing it!

Some days you just have 2 year old moments! Havanna was a little distracted and frustrated yesterday, but she always tries. Reward the good, push past the bad, and when the youngster keeps her head together despite wind, cold, screaming neighbors, and being in heat - keep it short and get back after it tomorrow!

I had some helpers tucking the horses in tonight 💕 Seeing my niece's love for horses grow makes my heart smile and I'm so thankful my brother and sister in law let me share these animals with them 😊

Havanna has taken to saddling and groundwork like a champ, however she's been a little unsure about the whole person being on her back thing.

So, rather than push her past unsure and in to scared, we slowed down a little bit this week and worked on getting confident. It was well worth the wait to be able to step up into the saddle and have her be completely relaxed.

Now on to teaching her to move forward in a straight line with a rider lol
