We've had so much fun playing in the snow! Junior is a 4 year old Tennessee Walking Horse, here for training. We believe that part of training is expanding experiences for the horses to create the best well rounded mounts. And... who doesn't love to play in the snow? ❤️🐎❄️

Work hard, play hard!
We rode out the cold snap in style... now to play in the snow! Harley LOVED hauling the kiddos around. 🌨🏂☃️🎿⛄️❄️

We're all hunkered down for this cold snap and snow storm! Horses stay warm best with shelter, extra forage (good hay), and plenty of fresh water. Healthy horses don't particularly NEED a blanket, but they may enjoy it. And you can always hot mash their grain to help keep their water intake up and their bellies warm.

Farrier day at the barn today and Red is pretty sure he needs way more attention than a new set of shoes, full grooming, and fresh bedding 😂
This little powerhouse of a gal... 😍😍 Noble has been a wonderful gal to get in shape this spring. I love her attitude, spunk, and over all gentleness.
Some days you just have 2 year old moments! Havanna was a little distracted and frustrated yesterday, but she always tries. Reward the good, push past the bad, and when the youngster keeps her head together despite wind, cold, screaming neighbors, and being in heat - keep it short and get back after it tomorrow!
Havanna is settling in nicely and we got a nice workout in this evening. She got some play time in, but quieted down and got to business quickly.
It's frigid, but the sun came out and the boys talked me into a few laps around the arena. Tied the lead off and let Harley get some play time in 😍
Its been a heck of a week here, so here's a little Della Jane to brighten up the weekend!
Monday morning I got hit driving back from filling up my gas tank and the insurance company has decided to total out my truck. Thankfully I'm fine, just extremely sore, tired, and not happy that Petey (my truck) is gone. Thank you, thank you to everyone of my clients and friends and family for all the support and understanding ❤
