The horses that make you work hard and think outside of the box.
The horses that react differently than the others you have trained.
The ones that say no and make you exercise emotional control.
Many times there is ego, intensity, grit, or arrogance associated with the winners.
Sometimes that makes them more difficult to train, but worth it.
Some days are a hell of an education.
