My son is so happy with his puppy. He said, "she loves me."
She lays on his lap while he watches football.

Agape is at her forever home with our son. She had an adventure at the beach and dug her first sand hole and greeted two fisherman.

Six days and Agape goes to her forever home with my son.

Went to Smith's Apple Farm and Agape had her first apple. She loved meeting all the people and eating her "fallen apple".

Bad news today. I had Agape genetically tested and the results show,

Ichthyosis, ICH1 Princess Agape the Fairest has 2 copies of a risk variant associated with this condition. Princess Agape the Fairest has two copies of a variant at PNPLA1 and is at risk for developing ichthyosis. I contacted the breeder and told her she should not mate her parents.

We will pray that she doesn't express the abnormal gene.

Day number 3. Agape walks with the pack. (99.9 % of the walk she was held.) She is learning from the adult dogs how to walk on a lease and how to be polite to people as they pass.

Puppy likes our cat because he is the same size. Our cat, Linx, is extremely friendly and thinks he is a dog. So he tolerates her. Until, she bites his tail, then he batted her with his paw (never with claws out) and she got the message.

Welcoming "Agape" (Ah-gah-pay) to the Deberny pack. I picked her up yesterday. She took the 4.5 hour road trip very well. She was a hit at the rest stop. Everyone wanted to greet her. Just in case you were wondering about me having "4" dogs, asking yourself is she nuts? No, Agape is a present to my son who became the new Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Mastic Beach, Long Island. I am fostering her and teaching her basic puppy manners with the help of three adult dogs. I will keep you posted on her progress.

Dogs are a blessing for many reasons. We were walking the dogs along the Niagara River and God sent us an added blessing.

Hi Everyone! It has been a long time since my last post. The girls are doing great. All are healthy and loving life. They look forward to their daily walks. They are having fun in their pool. A fun fact: they will swim in the dirty Tonawanda Creek, but their pool has to have fresh water everyday or they won't go in. Have an awesome day.
