Baker Boys' French Bulldog Rescue We are a licensed rescue in Georgia focusing on French Bulldogs and French Bulldog mixes. However, we will always take our rescues back.
(5)

For many years we were a licensed breeder of high quality, health tested French Bulldogs. We strived to perfect the breed's temperament and health and offered standard and unique colors. Although, we love our Frenchies and were very successful with our program the market become flooded with "breeders" and we found that so many French Bulldogs were being dumped, abused, not being provided proper ca

re to include proper vetting, and ending up in animal controls all across the nation. Due to this, we no longer felt good about breeding and decided to close our breeding program and start focusing on helping this wonderful breed! For our past puppy buyers, we will always work to support you and our pups. We will continue to stand behind all contracts and will always be available to you. We are a licensed rescue group in Georgia and we are licensed in the county we live. We are working on getting our non-profit 501c3, but this is not a fast or easy process. All of our rescues go into new homes spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines/deworming, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention, on flea prevention, and on a balanced diet (we feed and support Pro Plan). We work with our vet to get as much health information that we can to make sure the adopters know if there are any concerns with the pup they are adopting. We temperament test each rescue to see if there are any "triggers", how they respond to kids, cats, other dogs, crates, being in a home, car rides, meeting new people, any food aggression, etc. We try to make sure that we give our adopters the most information we can. We do our best to make sure that our rescues getting adopted STAY in their new homes FOR LIFE!

Scooter is ready for adoption

This boy is a 2-2.5 years old French bulldog. He is a very dark brindle pied and a complete sweetheart. He loves kids, other dogs, and does not seem to be bothered by our cat. He is completely crate trained, has not made any accidents in the house, And does not Mark. (He actually still squats to p*e). He has been neutered, current on all vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on heartworm and flea prevention. He does require Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach salmon with rice small bites food. That is not a prescription food, but it has settled best with his stomach. He is very playful, but at the same time will just lay and love on you. If you are interested in more information or would like to complete an adoption application, please send me a private message.

Meet our newest rescue.

This handsome boy is estimated to be around 2 to 2 1/2 years old. He is super sweet and loves other dogs. He is heartworm negative and on prevention, he has been neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all shots, and is settling in very nicely. He will become available for adoption in the coming weeks after we are able to get more details on his personality, training, and get the final approval for adoption from our vet.

We are still thinking of a name for him. Any good ideas?

This little one is now available for adoption.

Bali is a 7 month old lilac and tan French Bulldog. She is considered a micro. So she is very small, smaller than a 2 little bottle of coke. She is a thick girl and very sweet. She loves to play fetch. She loves other dogs and kids. She has been around cats and is fine but she thinks it’s fun to chase them. 🤦🏼‍♂️
She is doing great with crate training and is very eager to learn new things. She has been spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all shots and deworming, and is on flea and heartworm preventative.
Please know that She is allergic to chicken so she does require a food that does not have chicken in it. She does not require a prescription food, we feed her Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach salmon with rice. She has been on this food for the last couple of months and has done great. We actually kept her longer in our program to ensure that we would have no issues with her food before we adopted her out. She is now ready and looking for her forever home. If you’re interested, please let us know and we will send an adoption application, and all information on how our adoption process works. Thanks

Warning Cuteness Alert!!!

This little girl was surrendered to the rescue today. She is a 5month old lilac and tan. She is tiny at only 6lbs. She is scheduled to get a full exam with our vet to make sure she is healthy and no concerns with her super petite size. 🥰

It’s official!!!

Sadie has found her forever home. She is living with her two new parents, tiny human brother, and even has a frenchie brother. She is getting spoiled and lots of love! We couldn’t be more happy for her. We will miss her but so glad she is in the perfect place now. Thank you for loving this girl.

👀 4️⃣❤️🏡

Sadie has been spayed and has recovered from the surgery. She is now ready to find her forever family. Again, she is not part of the rescue but is the finally dog from my breeding program.

Sadie Mango (Sadie for short) turned 3 years on July 19th. She is technically a blue tan point but looks like a chocolate tan point most days. She is crate trained, good with other dogs, been around a cat, and loves kids. She does great on car rides. She is very playful but will also be the type to lay on the sofa and just be happy letting you love on her.
She is current on all vaccines, deworming, microchipped, spayed, heartworm negative, had the one year heartworm prevention vaccine, and she has been completely health tested to include
X-rays. Our vet stated she is completely healthy. She weighs about 24 lbs currently but could probably lose a pound or two.

Rehoming fee is required. Please let me know if you have any questions.

ANNOUNCEMENT:
Warning Long Post

Given the French Bulldog crisis we are facing with overbreeding, flooded market, and the number of Frenchies showing up in shelters across the United States due to these issues; we have decided to make some changes.

Effective immediately we have shut down our breeding program. We actually have not bred in over a year but there has been a lot of time spent researching the issues we are facing as a nation and watching and waiting to see how things will play out before making a final decision. Well unfortunately, things have not improved with the breeding of our beloved breed. Things have only gotten worse. We have spayed/neutered all of our frenchies from our program and have cancelled our breeding and breeding business license.
Just over a year ago we got our rescue license and have been helping frenchies that have been in animal shelters due to being dumped, owner arrest, etc. We will continue our efforts to help these babies to prevent euthanasia of our favorite breed.
So with all of that being said we have changed our page to reflect our new name (which is the same but now includes rescue) and we will be finalizing getting our 501c3 nonprofit status. We will continue to support our past puppies and retired adults; as we always have. We will also still be a resource for breeders so that we can provide information on breeding responsibly. We have retired our last male (Romeo) and he will live out his life in our home as a member of our family. We spayed our last female (Sadie) and will be placing her in a pet home as soon as we find a match for her.
We thank all of you for the support you have shown over the years. We will miss raising our pups but we look forward to helping out the beautiful but discarded frenchies in shelters or those that the owners and/or breeders decide to release into our care. We hope you all will continue to follow, like, share, and support our efforts.

Thank you again!!!

Putting this out there for all My breeder followers

I have several supplies for sale. Below is a list and some pictures. Feel free to DM me if you are interested.
- 4 big plastic kiddie pools (used but still great for raising pups)
- 8 small plastic kiddie pools (2 different size smalls) (most used but might be 2-3 that haven’t been used yet) these are great for newborns until they get more mobile and then I moved them to the big pools
- Egg crate bed mat (used for one litter, in great condition. Perfect to help prevent or correct flat chested pups or pups with turned out legs)
- 6 dog food containers with screw lids (few different sizes) most have been used but a good wipe down they will look brand new.
- 3 crates (different sizes) the largest also has a nice crate cover that fits it. All brand new in packaging. The large crate box is damaged, I left in the rain by accident).
- 2 fake grass p*e stations (brand new:never used)
- 1 elevated dog cooling cot (brand new. Never used)
- 7 cases of p*e pads (100 per case) size 22x22 (all new never opened)

If you are interested just let me know what you are interested in and I can do a package deal or feel free to make an offer.

Just want to send a special thank you to all of our followers and supporters. We have now ran our rescue for just over a year. Although we are small, we have taken on some major medical and even temperamental cases. Very proud of the work that we have done, and look forward to continue helping this wonderful breed. Here are just some of the great dogs that we have placed in wonderful homes through our rescue.

ADOPTION PENDING
Our sweet Ethel girl has been officially retired and is looking for a sofa to lounge on for the rest of her life.

Ethel is 6 years young 😉. She has been spayed, up-to-date on all vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, has had the one year Heartworm vaccine, and is on flea meds. She has been completely health tested and also had the nasal and pallette surgery two years ago. She is crate trained, does great in the house, loves all dogs and cats, loves people and kids, and is very playful. She is probably one of the easiest dogs I’ve ever had. She loves to go for car rides and it’s just a total love bug. She has a long life ahead of her and would make a wonderful companion for any family.
Adoption application is required and there is an adoption fee. If you’re interested, please send me a private message.

Meet our newest rescue, Mabel.

Mabel came to us about six weeks ago after she was found on a busy road. She had a pr*****ed va**na and was underweight. We can only assume that she was dumped once her owner figured out they could not breed her and she was going to need medical attention. Since then, she had surgery to fix the prolapse va**na and she was spayed. The vet is estimating her to be about 18 months old. She is heartworm negative. She is up-to-date on all vaccines, deworming, has been given the one year heartworm prevention shot, on flea preventative, and has been microchipped. She has also gained the weight she needed to, and probably could lose a pound or two at this point 😬. She gets along with all the dogs that she has met so far, loves everybody she meets, and so far has shown no interest in cats. This girl has a lot of love to give, and we can’t wait to find her the perfect home.

Hey guys! So sorry I haven’t given an update on our rescue pup, Araya Hope! I actually broke my foot at work not to include on the same day my mom had a heart attack and was placed in the hospital for three weeks. So I’ve been dealing with not only my foot but also my mom having open heart surgery since January 8th. We both have a Long road to recovery but it is getting better. So I apologize for not keeping in touch on here.

The great news is Araya Hope now CeCe was adopted by a wonderful woman and her frenchie, Ava. CeCe has settled in perfectly and it’s almost like she has always been there. Here are some photos of CeCe and her new sister Ava in her home!
