Dr. Brian Rambarran, a urologist based in Buffalo, New York, rescues dogs from kill shelters throughout the country by flying his plane to pick up the animals.

In a now-viral video, Rambarran can be seen landing his plane on a rainy day, bringing out the canines, and handing them to the volunteers from the local animal shelter.

Speaking to Good Morning America, Brandon Wolf, a board member of Nickel City Canine Rescue, said the moment was captured to help spread awareness about the rescue mission.

Be that weird guy who pulled over and checked on the animal hit by a car, to see if it was still alive and in need of help.

Be the construction worker that left work early while his buddies laughed at him because he found an injured squirrel and wanted to get it to safety.

Be the irritating woman who wasn’t afraid to stop traffic because a mama duck was trying to cross the road with her babies.

Be the gross person who isn’t disgusted by a mangy fox and sees it as an animal that needs help from the right people.

Be the aggravating informant who tells the guy buying rat poison what is does to our local wildlife.

Be the uncool kid who stops his friends from trying to hurt a snake they found for fun.

When we start feeling bad or embarrassed for showing EMPATHY toward another and trying to SAVE A LIFE, then we have let the opinions of others mean WAY too much.

Never apologize for being a good and caring human being. There aren’t enough in this world.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far! This has been beyond humbling and your kind words, love, and support have been greatly appreciated. Within 24 hours, you donated $1,600!

Our goal is to raise $4,000 to pay off our bill at Rochester Community Animal Clinc. We put a payment in for $1,200 this morning. Our remaining balance is $2,670.94 (Facebook donations take about a month to come through to us. That is so far $481).

My goal for today is to get us under $2k owed. We need your help! We are looking for businesses that might support us. If you have any leads, please let us know. In the meantime, if you can continue to share our posts, even if you can’t donate, that helps us more than you know.

Free Community Pet Care Event tomorrow!

Don't forget that tomorrow is our first Community Pet Care Event of the summer, at The Cameron Community Center Teen Parking Lot (32 Cameron St.) in Rochester. The event will include free dog vaccines (rabies and DA-PP/distemper/parvo), free pet food, pet supplies, and resources for pet owners. Join us from 10 am - 2 pm!
