We are dedicated to helping homeless cats and dogs in lower Westchester County and even beyond. We provide the necessary vet care, wonderful loving foster homes and ultimately, we pride ourselves on finding the perfect forever homes for all our cats and dogs.

Galinda has settled in nicely with a new foster but we need to find her a fabulous home. She loves to play with toys and is also happy to sit on a lap and give kisses. She is loving attention from her new humans and play time with other cats. Today she spent a fair amount of time watching fish videos. Need a friend to watch TikTok with you? Galinda may be your gal. Are you looking to adopt a special-needs kitten? Meet Galinda! This very spunky, sometimes shy, 13 week old kitten was born with a trachea that is too small for her body. The vet specialists say there is absolutely no way to fix it but Galinda is capable of living a long life, despite her disability. She is looking for a quiet, peaceful home where she can be a cat that is not chased or roused by children/teenagers, or dogs. She does very well in the company of other friendly cats. From time to time, Galinda may experience breathing spasms, which looks like she is having an extremely hard time breathing and at that moment she is, but her body will adjust. Galinda will eventually go back to her normal routine as if nothing ever happened. The vet has assured us, and we have witnessed, that she will not likely aspirate or stop breathing This is a condition where her body just needs time to adjust. Galinda loves to eat dry and wet food. She uses the litter box, has tested negative for FIV/FELV and enjoys laser lights and play toys. Our fosters at Cat Assistance think she is just the cutest kitten ever! Binx was rescued from an nyc shelter and was diagnosed with congenital megaesophagus. She needed surgery at Guardian Veterinary Specialists and has recovered and is ready for adoption.

Pepper and Petunia are still looking for their forever home. They have severe cerebral hypoplasia and therefore have some special needs. This bonded duo would do best in an apartment or a single floor home. They are wobbly on their feet and stairs can be dangerous for them. They are sweet, playful and very affectionate.
