We are the place for improving your working or competition dog body awareness to be injury free during their job. When dog owners experience confusion with their dogs spinal or knee disease it can be traumatic for the relationship. As a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Technician I helped to improve their daily functional abilities by building balance, coordination, and, strength. It is my true pas

sion to help a dog build body confidence with exercise for daily functions and a stronger relationship with their owner. I have developed a canine fitness business to help my clients find healthy perceptions of their dog to strengthen their relationship with a foundation of proper exercise that will prevent injury before the spinal or knee injury. Together we can reach your dogs health goals for a more functional long life.

Dog movement patterns can be both simple and complex, but they all tell a story about your dog’s health and fitness!

At K9 Fitness Works, we encourage you to pay attention to how your dog moves, whether it's a basic walk or more complex movements like a fast run or an agility jump. These patterns reveal key information about their strength, coordination, and potential discomfort. Small shifts, like uneven steps or changes in gait, could be early signs of weakness or pain.

By watching how your dog moves during play, training, or even rest, you’ll learn how to spot when something is off and get help to keep them in top shape! We always have free 15 minute consults to help you on the right path.
Let’s make fitness fun and keep our dogs moving strong!

A happy dog is a heard dog!

Just like us, our dogs need to be understood and feel connected. When your dog’s physical and mental needs are met, you’ll notice a calmer, more content companion. At K9 Fitness Works, we believe that listening to your dog’s body cues—whether it's a need for rest, a good play session, or some exercise—builds trust and strengthens your bond.

If your dog is restless or stressed, it could be their way of telling you they need more movement or stimulation. Let’s help them be heard! Adding simple exercises or mental games to your daily routine can transform their energy into happiness and balance while building a stronger relationship.

A strong body, a calm mind, and a deeper connection—because a happy dog is always a heard dog.

Makoa and I went to adventure fest last weekend in fruit of Colorado and our second bike dog trip.

Makoa help me volunteer at the registration table and an aid station. She was a very good girl on the a trip.   She wore her cooling vest and decided to sit in the sun.   She got some intense be calm around Bike training. We camped the first night and then our tent blew away in the storm. We car camped the next night which she enjoyed sleeping on the fluffy army sleeping bag and could watch outside what was going on.   She got to play with a couple dogs and a walk on trails.
I equilibrated it to camp half blood where everyone goes through training but then goes on an adventure to test the training.   When our training is put to the test in a new environment that is when we can find the holes on things we may want to practice more.
What adventures have you and your dog been on to test your training?

Note:   The last 2 photos are from a serious bike accident this week. Go to if you want to read the full story.
