The Puissance class at the Dublin Horse Show was a thrill to watch! This wall was 2.15 meters tall!
Horse Show fever everywhere in Dublin😂
The leadline ponies at the Dublin Horse Show were exquisite, as were the traditional outfits of the handlers! Delightful to watch❤️
The Amateur Hunters at the Dublin Horse Show were interesting to see! Watch as the judge asks them to „canter on“- they really move! After their amateur riders completed the class, a test rider got on each horse and rode it at all 3 gaits with a simple change and a gallop at the end. When she was done, the saddle was removed and the horse was presented to another judge in the same arena for conformation evaluation. The entire class took a good 45 minutes. Attire for hunter riders throughout the show was fox hunting based, with tweed coats and canary breeches…not a pair of Tailored Sportsman in sight, not even at the vendor booths:)Also, hunters are divided into categories: Heavy Weight, Medium and Light. All were gorgeous!

Another young hunter in the making!
Our 4 year old Trakehner mare, Indy, went directly from her summer pasture to a week of camp with Sara Rhodes and has been stellar😍Her future is bright! Indy is a half sister to our previously approved stallion, Nitro. She has the very best disposition and is a perfect size! ##chestnutmare##fancygirl##morehunters##nottoobig##
The day they’ve been waiting for all year:)
Lucy’s dapples are amazing!
Our young German Trakehner mare, Kara, has started to canter her first lines over ground poles with rider /trainer Samantha Mayer. Kara loves her job and has told us that she wants to be a hunter…..🙂 Thank you and great job, Samantha!
Our youngsters will be coming home from training in just a few weeks and we can’t wait!😍Barnaby has transformed from a hairy pasture baby to a sleek and handsome youngster under saddle, thanks to Isobel Crumb! He is a 4 year old Oldenburg gelding by Bernay /Finest and we plan to develop him in dressage❤️Thank you and great job, Isobel!
We have a thing for greys and are super excited to see our young, homebred Holsteiner gelding Carrington finally going under saddle! Carrington is by Calido I and out of a dam by Quinar. He is a big boy and he took awhile to mature, but it was worth the wait:) Thank you, to his rider and trainer, Marah !
Next in our young horse lineup is Millie, who is excelling in her winter training program and enjoying her gymnastics lessons! Millie is one of our homebred Holsteiners by Million Dollar /Lorentin I. Thank you and great job, Ryan Bradley!
Another one of our youngsters is officially going under saddle! Barnaby is royally bred for dressage and we have been anxiously waiting for him to reach riding age. He is an Oldenburg gelding by Bernay out of a dam by Finest. He loves all of the attention that he is getting and has received an excellent report card so far:) Thank you, Isobel, for doing such a great job with him!
Our young horses in training are off to a great start this year and it looks like we have another lovely hunter in the making! Our young Trakehner mare, Kara, is officially going under saddle with her student rider and trainer, Samantha Mayer! Kara had a gorgeous foal for us by our previous stallion, Nitro, so we waited an extra year and a half to start her under saddle. It was well worth the wait! Can’t wait to see how she progresses- Thank you and great job, Samantha!
Playing with my best girl today, Dolce❤️
Not to be outdone by his sister, our „little“ Max looks like he wants a future in the hunter ring as well! He is a big, flashy boy and we see a future equitation or derby horse. Hard to believe that he was a wild pasture baby just 4 months ago. Thank You and great job, Kiah Grayer! Max is a Holsteiner gelding by Million Dollar /Lorentin I and he is a full brother to our super young hunter mare, Millie.
Our young Holsteiner mare, Millie, is getting ready for her first show in December with Abby Rich! Great job, Abby! We’re excited🤩
…and more young hunters! Our flashy 3 and 1/2 year old Holsteiner gelding, Max, is a big boy and is destined for the hunter ring! Max is by the stallion Million Dollar and is the last foal out of our foundation mare, Tiena. He is a full brother to our fancy young hunter prospect, Millie. Max has only been under saddle for about 90 days and is developing beautifully under the guidance of Kiah Grayer. He is shown in this video being ridden by Isobel Crumb. In addition to being handsome , he is also a very good mover. We are excited for his future! Thank you and great job, ladies!
….and more Hunters!! This is our 3 year old homebred Holstener mare, Dora, after just 90 days of training with Isobel Crumb. Dora is a half-sister to our fabulous young hunter mare, Lucy, who is a barn favorite and is currently showing. Dora has the same lovely canter, natural lead change and amazing disposition as her big sister…..To say that we are excited is an understatement! Dora is by Con Capilot and is out of our German Holsteiner mare Zarinja, by Clearway. Thanks for the video, Isobel and great job!
