Yesterday we were able to pull TWO more of these
We now have a total of 7 of the 14 all thanks to just two of our fosters.
While we are thankful for our fosters who have made this possible, we are a small rescue with limited resources (people) and we need others to step up please 🙏
7 - yes 7 - of these adorable pups remain at the shelter! 😔 (pictured in the video) Please help them! The shelter is no place for puppies this young and they very likely will not make it out if we can’t help them. If you have contacts at local rescues, reach out to them to see if they can help. Even one pup pulled would make a difference!

Meet Milo! Milo is the sweetest, fluffiest and cuddliest boy! He is a 4-year-old neutered male Tabby mix that is current on vaccines and microchipped. Milo loves napping, chasing lasers, curling up in laps, and getting his big belly rubbed. There isn’t much he dislikes - he’s the most easygoing cat there is. He is the perfect family cat and is absolutely wonderful with kids. He loves pets and snuggles which makes him super happy! He is litter box trained. AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! This goofy girl is May! May is a 2-year-old yellow lab mix ready to steal your heart and make you laugh. May has a gentle demeanor and loves attention from her foster family. She enjoys playing with her toys, being active, and when she's tired herself out, enjoys a nice cuddle sesh with her loved ones. She is house and crate trained, does well with other dogs, and would do well in nearly any home environment. While a fenced in yard is not required, May would love a home with a backyard and/or with someone who is going to keep her active. ‼️Code Red Urgent‼️
14 puppies that are from two separate litters have been dumped at the shelter.
They are 6-7 weeks old and under 10 lbs each!! All in desperate need of rescue and foster homes!! They are stuck at this shelter until Tuesday when it opens up only being checked on maybe once or twice a day 😢
They will not survive there much longer.
BOTTOM LINE - WE NEED FOSTERS AND WE NEED THEM NOW!!!

Foster apps may take up to 48 hours to process, but we will do it as quickly as possible!
**Some have ringworm but because all have been exposed we will have to treat all as if they all have it. It’s easily treatable. If you have questions about treatment, we can go over the protocol and answer any questions.

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! This cutie is Trooper! Trooper is a one-year-old Hound mix who is just the most social guy! He enjoys meeting new people and dogs - he is super excited and inquisitive and just wants to get to know everyone. When he's tired himself out from playing with others, he loves to snuggle up with his foster family. He is super sweet and is doing excellent with his training. Trooper is currently house and crate trained. He would do best in most home environments, including one with other pets and children. Trooper weighs around 36lbs and is full grown. ADOPTION EVENT❣️Are you on the hunt for a new furry friend?! Then you need to come by Blakeney PetSmart (9911 Rea Rd. Charlotte, NC 28277) this Saturday, 8/31, between 12-2pm! Our volunteers will be there with pups Trooper, Superman, and Gracie, as well as kittens Brody and Asher. We will be happy to answer any questions about the adoption process and assist with your introductions.

Update #2
‼️ Sadly, little Atlas passed away at the ER vet. He didn’t die at the shelter and at least we gave him a few hours of love. Weighing only .6 lb he was just too tiny to fight 😔

‼️ Update: We are taking the orange tabby to the emergency vet - he’s so sick his eyes are glued shut with gunk and can’t be opened - we know these aren’t the things you like to hear, but they are reality and we really need your support! Thank you!!

She’s been with us way too long (a year next week) but continues to shine brighter every day!
The girl with the timid start, has come out of her shell - loves her people, loves her friends!
Watching her become secure in a safe world where she is loved has been a joy for our rescue. She should not be overlooked - she deserves a loving home❗️
