Hello Everyone! I am terrible at updating my social media pages so I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself and my company to anyone who doesn't know me!

My name is Emily Smith and my husband Beau and I live in Stoughton, WI with our little zoo of animals. We have two dogs, Charlie Brown (where the C.B. comes from) and Marcie, a cat named Peppermint Patty (P**i), and three chickens, Dorothy, Agatha, and Beatrice. We also have two apple trees and try to do a little garden every year. I started C.B. Biscuits when Charlie was about a year old and he is now almost 8 (😳). I started this company because I was so tired of all the dog treat and dog food recalls and I wanted Charlie, and now also Marcie, to have a safer, healthier alternative without all the chemicals and preservatives.

Since our start we have tried to make more and more ingredients come from our own house and garden. We now use the eggs from our chickens, the applesauce from our apple trees, the pumpkins from our garden in the Fall, and we are hoping to grow our own carrots this year.

We cut our treats thin and bake them for a long time at a low temperature so they are completely dried out and shelf stable. It was important to me to make a treat that is shelf stable and lasts a long time since I always have jars of treats throughout the house and didn't want them to have to be refrigerated. I am always experimenting with different ingredients and hope to release a grain free treat in the future. My background is a degree in Culinary Arts and I now manage a doggy daycare and am an assistant dog trainer so you can say my passions are food and dogs, hence the treats!

Anyway that is a little about us and who we are. We cannot wait to see you all this Summer at the Stoughton Community Farmers' Market! 😁
