Agnes and Dax hiking to White Falls off of the Blue Ridge Parkway, the most visited NPS site of 2021 We love traveling with our dogs! We have breeds that are down for adventure and are portable sizes (17 # Mountain Feist Agnes and 29 # Blue Heeler / Jack Russell Terrier mix Dax). B.A.R.K. Ranger status: Badges earned December 31, 2021! ⭐ Hike review: Excellent! This site comprises both the Timucuan Reserve and the Fort Caroline National Memorial. Elements of both of these can be explored on the trails, including the local ecology, and reconstructions of the history. Trails were wide and gentle, with good variety of scenery. A few blind trail corners due to the dense forest and underbrush meant that we needed to stay alert for other dogs....

B.A.R.K. Ranger status: Badges earned December 30, 2021! ⭐ Hike review: Great! Lovely and various scenery, gentle trails, interpretive signage, and relatively short. It was a pretty humid day, so was also happy for periodic shade. There were a fair number of people there - it was the holidays, and Fort Pulaski is a short drive from Savannah. However, people and dogs were well-behaved, and a good time was had by all!...
