Patsy surprised us 3 days early with a buck (black) and a doe (dappled)! It was a breeze for this first time freshener and the babies are doing excellent! The little buck is sold and the little doe we will be retaining. We’ve decided to call her Trixie!

It is no secret that Millie is my favorite goat on the farm! At 6 months she developed a precocious udder. She is now a first freshener yearling and these pics are her udder 2 days fresh! I’m super excited for this girls future!

These babies are so darn adorable! 50/50 Boer Nubian crosses. The boys are very nicely built and will make some excellent 4-h whether projects! The boys are for sale as bottle babies. The black headed and the larger of the two tan heads are the boys.

Spent a little extra time with with Ricky tonight. He had a bad abscess a couple weeks ago near his sc***um so I couldn’t band him until that was cleared up. Trimmed his hooves and got him banned tonight. Cant wait for him to go to fair with Patrick, such a nice whether!

Patsy and Aurora are pending new homes. Hate to see these girls go but happy to have a little reliefe and to get some other stuff done around the farm so in the future we can build bigger!

Oh baby watch with Hattie and Millie! Millie is due 3/10 and Hattie 3/12. Wouldn’t it be something if they go the same day! Hattie I’m thinking will go early I’m thinking Millie will go late.
