This is a page about MY two rescued Australian Magpies (Cracticus tibicen) Mavis and Morris. Please like and enjoy, Deborah There started the adventure of Mavis.

It began on a unusually hot (34*) Spring Day in September 2015. My sister and I were travelling to pick up some soil for a garden bed we had built. As we were approaching the business I see a tiny baby magpie on the edge of the road, being who I am I had to try to save it. My actions and the hot windy day, tempers flared but I couldn't leave the poor bird to nature. On a wet Spring day in October

of 2016 a tiny magpie was found by a caring person sitting wet and bedraggled in the middle of the road, she couldn't drive by, so took it home. Not expecting it to survive the next morning it was all fluffy and hungry. This lady had too many pets so I was recommended to care for it, I really didn't want anymore animals but how can you refuse. So began the adventure of Morris.

Morris 🤪

Morris with his two girlfriends, flying high but still wants to eat here. Good all round. Mavis is flying free in Adelaide with his girlfriends but likes the luxury of a cage at night. Both are where they belong, free to come and go. 💜
