Finch’s first 2* and he did it in style with a fab double clear 🌟❤️
After a excitable dressage he just added a few time to his dressage score which when he’s not been out in 11 weeks I couldn’t ask for anything more! Excited to get him stepped up to intermediate soon!

So proud of little Henry today. First proper competition outing this year! Throwing him in the deep end at bramham but he’s shown just how bold he is and just how much he loves to jump with a lovely clear in the 5 year olds 🥰❤️

With eventing getting cancelled meant a day showjumping on Saturday. All 3 horses jumping well feeling very ready to actually get eventing now.

5 year old Henry did his first proper showjumping track around the discovery showing just how scopey he is. 🤩

Orange then came 1st yesterday in the 100 brigante cup ending on her 24.5 dressage 🎉 💃

A very mixed day at burgham yesterday!

Orange did a lovely test and the starts of a lovely showjumping round until we both hit the deck 🙈

Finch lead the dressage on a 28 then a annoying first fence and last double down showjumping followed by a super bold cross country. He’s definitely found his love for cross country now 🏇 🌟

Busy weekend with the horses 🐎

Orange completed her first novice at Warwick on Saturday, producing her best test yet for a 26! ❤️

On Sunday we had Bomber Command and Dancing Lad at Breckenbrough.
Bomber Command came 2nd on a dressage of 29 with just a unlucky pole and Dancing Lad finished 7th with a much improved dressage of 32 and just a pole dropping him down the leader board! 🌟

Lovely day at Alnwick yesterday. Orange did a fab double clear to finish 2nd on her dressage of 27 🥈❤️

Dancing Lad owned by Jackie Crofter Harris was out for the first time in a while doing a lovely dressage and showjumping. He was then super bold cross country but got a unfortunate cross of tracks leading to a 20 pens. Fair to say he was very excited to be out again finding it all a bit too easy! 🌟

My two favourite boys had their first big day out at the 4 year old byeh at Bramham. Both did very sweet rounds, showing just how bold they are, all that they might not be what the judges are looking for. Now time for them to both have a little holiday ❤️

Bullfinch pulled it out the bag today leading from start to finish to win on his dressage score of 26, by over 4 marks! ❤️

After a fab run last weekend for orange at Bishop, it wasn’t our day today but she’s definitely getting there!

A lovely day at filled with lots of positives!

Dancing Lad owned by Jackie Crofter-Harris and Hollie Wharton did a fabulous double clear in his first ever BE90 to finish on his dressage of 33.8, would of been 4th if wasn’t running HC.

Koblenz WV produced another solid dressage and clear showjumping but a unfortunate 20 pens towards the end of the course where she just over jumped into the A element and lost all steering to the second! She’s becoming so bold cross country 🤩

Bullfinch was on top form doing a 30 dressage, annoying last pole showjumping and confident clear xc to come 6th! 🌟

A educational but very long windy day at Kelsall hill.

Orange produced a 28 dr, 4 faults showjumping and a clear CrossCountry with a few time.

Finch did a 29 dr, 4 faults sj and another clear xc with time.

They both showed a massive improvement in the dressage and felt mega bold cross country flying over a course causing a lot of problems. ❤️🌟

Very proud day today! We took one of our first homebreds, Henry, out for an arena hire at Richmond.

He behaved amazingly and jumped really well showing lots of potential. After not being on a wagon or even seeing a filler until today he wasn’t phased at all showing just how chilled out he is 🌟❤️

Late update on Breckenbrough horse trials on both finch and orange.

Finch was a total star doing a very confident double clear with a couple of time on a 31 dressage to come 3rd! 🌟

Orange had a very nearly day but with a sack the jockey moment. A lovely calm 27 dressage, a pole showjumping to which she was very annoyed about and jumped the rest of the course enormous 🙈 then cross country she felt absolutely amazing flying though all the combinations that I did have my doubts about, until I decided to let her go for the time and completely sailed straight past a jump not realising it came up on us quite so fast round the corner 😩 still kicking myself for it but at least I know that won’t be happening again 🙈😂

A lovely day at nec ode yesterday. Dancing lad owned by Jackie Crofter Harris was a star doing a fab double clear to come 4th!!
Joe owned by Heather Moorhouse also had a good day out, he produced a good (but excitable at times 🙈)test, an unfortunate pole showjumping and all that he got a little overwhelmed by the atmosphere cross country we know what to work on ready for next time!
