Facebook is after breeders. I support this for puppy mills and shady dog brokers. We are supposed to be exempt because we have a website and a brick and mortar location but it can be tricky to convince a computer program of that. 🫠

As our last puppy of the year has departed for his new home, we are always left with deep gratitude to all of our friends and followers. Most of our new puppy families come by way of referral from previous puppy families or our friends who know us. We have had just a few people find us on Google/our web site.

I (Jill) used to get a lot of anxiety, like lose sleep, over finding good homes for our pups. I have learned a lot of things over the past several years but one that seems to help calm the anxiety is—- things will work out how they should.

Today as Bug, at 13 weeks (the longest we’ve ever had a puppy remain in our care) got to meet his new owner it just felt like- this is why he was still here. Because this was who he was meant to belong to and the universe knew that even if I didn’t.

We have some adorable updates to share with previous puppies over the coming weeks. We plan to skip our girls’ next cycles and wait for spring to have our next litter. Rex doesn’t always agree with our plans but we will do our best to corral him. 🤣

Aaaaaannd… Bug is off to meet his new family that includes a doodle brother- Zeus. We can’t wait to see them together and watch this guy blend into his new forever family. ❤️

Bug is learning how to roll with the big dogs. They had an awesome afternoon of playing outside and now everyone is wiped out. He chooses to snuggle with his mommy. ❤️

We strive to wave only green flags in regard to our program.

This past year we have skipped 4 heat cycles because the market is saturated with poodle mix dogs. It disheartens me to see breeders who have 4-6 month old pups available they are struggling to place in homes yet continue to breed litters. There is no method to their madness and it is simply a money grab.

Do your research before choosing a breeder. Please. Puppy mills continue to exist simply because people continue to buy puppies from them.

Sweet Bug is so worn out of a full day with the adult dogs he’s snoozing away. He’s ready to rest his head in a forever home. ❤️

Jetta, now Ruby, has a fantastic forever home. She is joining a Sugardoodle family. Cooper, was Big Bird, is a puppy we donated in 2021 to be trained as a therapy dog. She and Connie passed their therapy certification test which made us so proud! Such a bonus to get to see Cooper today. 🤍💛

The last puppy of the litter, Bug, looooooves belly rubs. He was an absolute stud for puppy personality testing and easily accomplished each task I asked him to do. Do you want to bring this good boy home with you and give him all the belly rubs? ❤️

We had family over for dinner last night and Jetta was getting some snuggles from our daughter’s boyfriend. He said “How has she not been picked!?!” 🤍
