Happy New Year everyone! We have definitely been sharing Kevin’s vibe below since the holidays.🥱
What is in the works for us in 2025? 🗓️
We have a planned pairing of Rex and Sunny this spring. These puppies would have mid-late summer home dates. Past Sunny and Rex puppies are 36-50lbs in light red, apricot and dark cream colors with straight, wavy or curly coats. 🐾 (Kevin below is their pup- His coat is dark cream and wavy)
We are also excited to (potentially) have the litter we dreamed of from the start of this journey. 💭
Pending timing, we will pair Prim with a purebred English retriever later this year to offer puppies with low shedding wavy coats that have more retriever personality mixed in than your standard F1 doodle (which is 50/50). Genetics aren’t set in stone (Mother Nature rules) but Prim is somewhere between 50-75% poodle and mixing her back to 100% English retriever should give puppies that are more than 50% retriever but will retain their adorable teddy bear doodle face (top knot and beard).
I do expect Prim’s litter will shed more than our F1b and multigen puppies (almost none) but nowhere close to what a retriever sheds.
