This weekend is MEGA ADOPTION weekend at the George R. Brown Convention Center, sponsored by Petco Love. Shelters and rescues across Houston will have pups and kitties of all ages and sizes available to adopt.

Saturday & Sunday, 10am - 5pm. Super low-cost $35 adoption fee, pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

With 1,000+ adoptable animals, attending the Petco Love Mega Adoption Event is a wonderful way to find your perfect family member.

Freedom Street Rescueue has a new bombshell that’s entered the villa.

Sweet and petite 43 lb Cookie is very demure, very mindful. Especially in her work-from-home office attire.

At 10 months old, Cookie was “arrested” by animal control for stealing Amazon packages off doorsteps.

Shes turned away from her life of crime now that she gets snuggles and treats. Shes currently in a reform school (board and train) and looks forward to a future as a couch dog. She loves other dogs and is super smart.

Available for adoption nationwide.

Normally dogs are off-limits for this 132 acre botanical garden on the south side, I-45 and Park Place Blvd. Admission tix are $15 per person, plus $5 per doggie.
