Cheeks is officially adoptable!!
This 2 year old boy is the absolute sweetest, most handsome, best boy!! He’s a total love, very chill, and super affectionate. Cheeks is fully vetted and healthy and ready for his forever person! He’s an INSIDE ONLY kitty. His indoor manners are impeccable and he deserves a posh, safe life. He was dumped and had to fend for himself for too long and needs a person to cherish him. This sweet girl was rescued from a place where her "person" was threatening to have her euthanised for no apparent reason. The kind lady who took her from that situation is caring for her and fostering while a loving forever home is found. This girl is about 2 years old and very sweet and loves to play with her ball and will fetch for you as long as you want to throw it! She's potty trained and is curious about the resident handicapped kitty but doesn't harm him. The other kitty runs from her and she will chase. The foster mom isn't positive of her intentions though...!

Cheeks went to the vet today and (…drumroll please…) he’s healthy! FIV/Felv Negative! He’s had his vaccines and dewormer, flea meds, and will be scheduled soon for his neuter. Doc thinks he’s only a couple of years old. This kid is SUPER sweet!

We have a few job openings and are having a really difficult time finding people who are truly dedicated to this lifestyle.

We have a couple of openings at our Louisiana location and one at our Texas location. The duties would be cleaning kennels, feeding, walking, and playing with dogs. Yes, you will get paid to "play with dogs."

Amy needs help. She’s on a fixed income and her previous landlord - and others in her apartment community - would bring her abandoned kitties. She has done an admirable job of raising them and caring for them in her small apartment all alone. Now there’s a new landlord who has reported her to animal control and they’re telling her she has to give up most of them. Her heart is broken and when we went to assess, she held back tears several times and she spoke about raising them from bottle babies. She’s terrified they’ll be taken from her and euthanized.

While her apartment is small and her income limited, she puts a lot of effort into caring for them and keeping her house as clean as possible. I won’t lie - it’s stinky. But the kitties are almost all in very good health. She rotates them in and out of kennels and most of them are very friendly with her. A couple arejust very friendly in general. They’ve not had much vetting - she can’t afford it. She desperately wants them to find loving homes.

If you can help… please reach out. I’m in contact with the animal control officer who is trying to work with us… I’d love to help her with supplies - dry cat food, puppy pads, cleaning supplies. We desperately need funds for vetting and even more desperately need fosters or adopters.

Lily’s human just passed away and his remaining family has serious allergy issues in their home and can’t take her in. Lily is a sweet girl, approximately 18 months old, and needs to be the ONLY kitty in the home… and she’s an inside only girl.
Please share and help us find this poor sweet girl a new place to be loved. If you can foster for a bit while we look for her home, please message me. She’s all alone in her old house for the moment…
