Our precious Mira has found her forever home! She’s going to be loved and spoiled and while we already miss this sweet little peanut… we’re thrilled with this adoption. 💕

Walter and Winston have landed at Dreya’s Place! These two VERY sweet boys are about a year old and are being treated for some skin issues. I believe they’re going to need to be adopted together, as they’ve been together through some tough times and seem very close. They both get along with kids, cats, and dogs - but can get a little grouchy over treats and don’t wanna share!

Loves to play. Loves to sit in your lap. Other cat doesn’t like him. 5 months old, neutered, wormed, all his shots. Family would keep but older cat is very disgruntled.

HUGE thanks to the fantastic staff at Pet Supplies Plus in S Arlington off of 287 for sponsoring Dreya’s Place in last month’s fundraiser! They raised over $1000 for us (In PSP gift cards!) as well as Kong toys (for the win!) and supplies. I was sitting on my couch chatting with a friend when she got a phone call from another rescuer about a kitten in the median of a busy local street. Neither of them typically work with kitties - but I do… so she and I went and scooped the little button up before the not-so-helpful officer who agreed to come and “put it out of its misery” arrived. She had obviously been through something… sitting there in an ant pile crying. No idea how she was spotted tgere Ir where her Mama was… She had a scraped and bloodied foot and heel and a cut on her other leg. She came home with me and we cleaned her up and put medicine on her booboos. She wasn’t using the scraped leg but she could push on my finger so I had a good feeling. It’s been 4 days now and she’s eating, pooping, using her legs (gingerly), and crying for attention and snuggles. We’re calling her Mira - short for Miracle. She needs a little time and some vetting but she’ll need a forever person soon..! (God willing!)

Ive been rather quiet for a bit. I’m still here. My house is still full of critters and we continue on. We’ve had a huge loss recently and are trying to figure out how to forge on. My mom passed in June and not only was she my mom and one of my best and closest friends, she was on the Board of Dreya’s Place, a huge supporter, and also a foster. She had a huge heart for animals and they all loved her. Her passing leaves a huge hole in my heart and my world. I’m not okay - but I’m trying. Her beloved dogs are now in my care and we mourn her loss together.

Take care of the babies we’ve lost, Mama. Until I see you again. 💔♥️💕🐾🐾🐾

This is Annie and her daughter, Misty. Mama is about a year old and her baby is only about 3 months. They’re friendly and currently living outside and trying to defend themselves against multiple outside kitties. They need an inside spot to live (togetger, if possible!) and a person to spoil! Meet Zoey! She came to us due to a very sad situation - the concise version of which is that her human has passed away.
Miss Zoey (ZoZo) is 4 years old and fully vetted. She’s quite a diva and very affectionate on her own terms. She’s a little shy at first but keep in mind that she’s been through a LOT in the last couple of months. ZoZo is a vocal girl and would love to have her very own person to boss around!
