Hi, we’re Zeus and Bentley! We’ve been best buddies for years, and we’re looking for a new home together. I’m Zeus, the mellow one—I love to cuddle and just had my teeth cleaned, so I’m feeling great! My pal Bentley and I both love going on walks, though he’s still learning how to be calm when we see other dogs. But don’t worry, our friends here are ready to help with some extra training for him. Hi, I’m Blaze. Life has been a bit overwhelming for me, especially at the shelter where everything felt so big and scary. Laika needs your help! She’s a 5 yo shepherd with the heart of a ball-retrieving Lab. Her intense focus on play makes her a best match as a single dog in an adult household. She is very bright, and is adept at sit, stay and settle. A fenced yard would be ideal so she can chase the ball to her heart’s content! Zeus and Bentley have shared their lives for a number of years. Zeus is mellow and loves to cuddle. He recently had a dental cleaning with extractions but has a clean bill of health. Both love to walk, but Bentley needs to work on his social skills when he sees another dog. We are happy to help support additional training to help him work on that. Both have good house manners and are crate trained, but they would love to share life with a human companion that either worked from home or was not gone for long hours. Nala is still waiting for her forever home. She is an energetic girl who'd love an active human. She has made great progress with her leash skills thanks to our volunteers. Now, she can be a bit excited when she first comes out for a walk, a bit jumpy, but she settles down quickly. She seems interested in cats when we see them on walks, but she doesn't bark, whine, or lunge at them. She is also interested in other dogs, but will easily continue walking past them. Nala does have the appetite of a lab so care is required around food! Nala is a young, healthy lab/husky mix. She's spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Please share her post or apply:

Where are they now? Pretty Girl lives in Eagle River where she reign over the dogs and the humans. She continue to live with Ollie and that amazing bond they have strengthens each day. I’m Jax. 🐾 Let me share a little bit of my story with you. A few years ago, I found myself in a tough spot and ended up at Animal Care and Control. Friends of Pets took me in and I was adopted. But life took an unexpected turn, and due to family circumstances, I’m back in search of a new beginning. 😔 I may be six years old, but I’ve still got a lot of love to give. I’ve been living as the only dog in my home, but I’m great with other pups too! Whether we’re out for a walk or just chilling at home, I’ll be your loyal companion every step of the way. We are Kenny and Kikkan, two bonded littermates who found ourselves in need of a new home after our previous owner passed away 😢 💔 We’re inseparable and devoted to each other, so we need a forever home where we can stay together.
