🔥 At the time of posting, the road surface outside Traffic Bromsgrove HQ is measuring at 52.3°c.

It goes without saying, DO NOT walk dogs in this heat. Not only will it burn their paws, it can also lead to death.

No dog has ever died from missing a walk.

Every year I feel people say the same thing…

But why am I driving around seeing dogs being walked in 24/25 degree heat? I’m seeing dogs being dragged around on their lead, tongues hanging out their mouths and just generally looking stressed.
It’s cruel,unnecessary and just stupid! Get up like many responsible owners and walk your dogs early or late at night when temperatures are much cooler.
People ignore advice given thinking it won’t happen to them but heat stroke can happen so quickly and be fatal!
So please think before taking your dog out in temperatures this high and if your dog walker is refusing to walk them please believe we aren’t doing it for any other reason but your dogs safety as if you think about it we lose money. BUT your dogs safety is always our top priority as we love them like our own 🥰.
I hope you all keep safe especially in the next couple of days where temps are even higher.

As we can all see the weather seems to become VERY warm next week.
So as you all know in the heat things become abit different….

*We will be doing early morning and shaded walks for as many of you as we can fit in before it gets too warm.
*Walks will be swapped to drop in visits.
* All flat nosed (brachycephalic)breeds will be swapped to drop in visits.
