The second bit of bad news that I’m heartbroken to have to share with you is that Bob Bulldog passed away suddenly on Sunday evening.

His owners are obviously devastated by this, and I’m sure we all send them our love and support. They gave him the most wonderful life, full of love and always treated like the prince he was. Thank you Mel, Matt and family for being such good dog parents, and for allowing me to spend time with him.

I’ve walked 4 bulldogs in my entire dog walking career, Bob is the only one that I kept on for more than a week. He more than ‘passed the vibe check’, he was an instant hit with both me and the dogs. Joining my crew very early on, he was one of the original squad members, ALL my dogs loved Bob. We will all miss him dearly, rest easy Bobbo😭🐾 xx

I’m afraid I’ve got some pieces of bad news to share with everyone.

Firstly, we had to say goodbye to the beautiful Layla Ridgeback on Friday, she passed away peacefully at home at her owners side. She’ll be missed by everyone after having a wonderful life with Raffi Ridgeback Catrin and Poli, living with her Ridgeback pals Raffi and Sula. Layla now joins Raffi over the rainbow bridge, I’m so grateful for the time I spent in her company and the calming presence she had at all times xx

A great idea to keep your dogs cool this summer! I’m thinking of making these, and maybe dowsing some wet food, pâté or doggy peanut butter on it when I serve it to them! Also, it can popped back in the freezer if they don’t finish it. Licking is incredibly enriching and mentally stimulating for dogs, I hope Norah and Bentley enjoy this 😊🐾

What is the most hygienic type of dog bowl?

Stainless steel is regarded by most to be the best all around material for dog food and water bowls. Stainless steel dog bowls won’t accumulate bacteria or get chewed up like plastic bowls, and they won’t chip, crack, or shatter like glass or ceramic bowls. However, as with all bowls, they should be cleaned and washed regularly too!!

A few people ask me about their ‘hyper’ dog, and no matter what the reason for the behaviour is, I always recommend one video for a great way to teach your dog that being calm and chill is not boring, and is actually quite rewarding for you both, and a way towards getting that perfect ‘pub dog’.

It’s worth me sharing this again as it works, and quite quickly too. Every dog I’ve done this with, picks it up within a couple of minutes. If practiced a few times a week for just a few minutes at a time, I promise you will see a huge positive difference! Whether it’s dogs jumping up at you, being distracted by everything, refusing to settle etc, this video will help you a lot at getting your dog to ‘settle’.
