About Cedarwood and Ash

Cedarwood and Ash, established by Cathy Peek from Adelaide in South Australia, was inspired by Cath's two favourite things - her family and her pup, Cedar.

After unsuccessfully searching for a beautiful and comfortable picnic rug for her family, and a durable but stylish portable/travel dog mat for Cedar, Cath decided to create her own. Her first creations were a hit with family, friends and strangers asking for their own beautiful, comfortable and durable rugs and mats. And so began Cedarwood and Ash.

Cath is always on the look out for gorgeous, durable fabrics and ribbons she can use in her creations. Her style inspiration ranges from bold colours and exotic boho patterns, to romantic and pretty prints, to fun and quirky designs. Cath's aim is to create durable, functional products that are also statement pieces, so her customers can create and capture wonderful memories with their own families, including their four-legged children.

As popularity for her dog mats grew, Cath started making matching dog collars, leashes and dog treat bags which are perfect for dog training. Having volunteered, worked and participated with her own dogs in dog training for many years she gets the issues dog owners face. Being a dog person she understands how much you love your dog and therefore extensively tests all her products for safety and durability and always takes the extra time required to ensure the highest quality product is produced.
