The goal is to create the bulliest baddest dogs without sacrifing structure and health which causes the dog to fall apart. Also having a balanced dog that is complete from front to back. When I came in I was blown away with the big 130+ lb dogs with big heads and I was blind to seeing the overall dog and it's flaws like high rears , stiff stifles ,roach backs, easty westy, underbites, long backs, bad movement. Thankfully I've surrounded myself with people who have opened my eyes to what a sound dog trully is. One thing that's been bugging me for a while is seeing so many guys who have been around as long or longer than me and they are still praising trainwrecks and it makes no sense. Idk if they don't see the flaws or they don't care. I choose to stay in my lane and not voice my opinion as much but these poor examples are hurting the breed as a whole. Your selling messed up dogs to families and sending them running for the hills away from the breed. In the show ring judges picking wow factor dogs and tools over well balanced dogs is one of the main reasons we are seeing so much trash. And fun shows handing out first place ribbons to everybody and their moms and misleading owners who don't know any better that they now have a good example of the breed. Here is our Xl boy Jalisco at a year old . Yes Xl. Not pocket not standard...Xls don't have to be 25 inches tall and 5 feet long and look like dobermans or mastiffs.
