All For Love Animal Rescue (AFLAR), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit all-volunteer animal rescue group, dedicated to saving abandoned animals from shelters in Southern California. We are an all-breed rescue, but focus on dogs in the most need, primarily Pit Bulls, followed by seniors, Chihuahuas, pregnant dogs and those needing medical care or surgery. We rescue, rehabilitate, and find forever homes throu

gh adoption events, networking, and community outreach. We advocate for animal welfare, affordable spay and neuter programs, and ending backyard breeding. Through education, we strive to restore the positive image of the American Pit Bull Terrier, as the loving family dog it truly is. We depend 100% on charitable donations to rescue, board, vet, train, and provide medical care, for all of our dogs. Thank you for helping Nova get the medical care she needs and for helping us save her life!!!

Nova was hospitalized for the 2nd time on December 15, in order to be sedated and undergo a series of tests to determine why her pneumonia has not resolved yet. We have received most of the test results, but are still waiting for a culture result from the Endotracheal Wash that was done. So far, we know that she has been fighting pneumonia, mycoplasma, canine infectious tracheobronchitis, bordatella, and kennel cough... and her immune system is weak. Thank god we have gotten her the critical medical care she has needed, in order to fight these infections! Once the culture results are in, there may be a change in antibiotics but for now, she is still on Baytril and Clavamox. We will still be doing more follow up vet visits with the internal medicine doctor, as well as recheck x-rays. AFLAR is still paying off her 2 hospital bills, as well as all the vet bills, x-rays and medicines. The good news is that NOVA is feeling better and has more energy and is coughing less. She is definitely a fighter, and we are committed to giving her all the medical care she needs to get through this, and then to find her Forever Home!
