This cute Momma loves having her picture taken. Her babies are growing so well. So far we have a couple of goldens, 1 Mel/Ax, several WT, and 1 that I'm unsure of. I'll post pictures of the babies soon.

We have eggs! Golden albino male and a high white axanthic female. Known hets. Pm for details if intersted.

I have been asked by beginners many times over the years about what is needed to make a suitable habitat for an axolotl. Below I have included some of the most important supplies with prices and descriptions included. This may be helpful for many people new to the hobby when deciding on pricing and location.
I have not included water heaters or chillers in this selection because both depend on circumstances. Hot climates would need to perform temperature checks on water inside the house at normal room temperature to decide if a chiller is necessary. If the owner intends to keep the aquarium in a 3 season room in a northern climate, a heater may be necessary to keep the tank at a stable 67*-70*.

Albino axolotl eggs from being laid, to blastula, to developing larvae, to hatched.
Parents were Copper female and Golden albino male with known hets. Copper is a form of albinism, and all albino females lay white eggs. Babies will be looking for new homes at the end of the summer.

This boy? is a gorgeous albino. When he was small, he was definitely a popcorn albino, which is an albino having patches of golden and patches of white albino. He seems to have grown out of this lovely pattern, however, but is still a handsome fellow. Unfortunately, he seems to have a cloaca deformity which leaves it rather odd looking, but functional.

Here are a few videos of two of my feeder tanks.
Inside are Daphnia, Scuds, blackworms, rotifers, cyclops, and seed shrimp. When the tanks get over crowded and the adult 'Lotls need a snack, I siphon a few tasty morsels for them to munch on.
When there a baby 'lotls to feed, the populations dwindle rapidly and I am always glad for the backup tanks.
These adorable little scuds are happily munching on zucchini and a piece of cat food.

What a bunch of beauties. So many people find the dark colors to be boring and plain, but there is so much diversity in them! Wild types alone have so many variants to their patterns that it astounds me when people label them as "low budget" morphs.

Our little deformed buddy is still alive as of today. He broke free from his egg before any of his siblings and still shows plenty of vigor. Only time will tell what becomes of him.

This video is meant for educational purposes and may cause certain viewers to be saddened for the little larva shown. This little feller has an unfortunate genetic mutation which has caused it to develop abnormal growths at the tail end of the abdomen. It also appears to be attached to its own egg where the mutation has presented. This larva is an obvious runt, appearing to be approximately 2/3 the size of siblings. As of this video and following images, this larva is still alive and wiggling but will likely expire before it is able to hatch. If it survives to the hatch date it will unlikely be able to separate from its egg. In the event that it does manage to hatch, the odds of it being able to eat and grow are not in its favor. Future updates will follow this guys journey. Day 11-12.
