We are sad to share the news of Ms Bobbie’s passing but we are thankful that she is resting in the arms of Jesus! Ms Bobbie was a big supporter of our Marion County Humane Society for many years and her heart and compassion for the strays was always evident in her giving!

Mrs. Bobbie Ann Stewart Mullins, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 in Winfield, Alabama. She was born on July 5, 1935, in Winfield, AL to James Frank and Annie Florence Beasley Stewart. Bobbie was a member of the Guin First Baptist Church and attended Hubbertville High School. She graduated from college as a Registered Nurse and served for over 30 years in the Winfield and Guin hospitals. In addition, she also worked as a real estate agent in the area and loved helping people find their choice home.
She dearly loved her children, grands, and great grands. She served and loved Jesus and her church family, was a woman of prayer and a giver to those in need. She loved helping the sick, providing care for her friends, taking care of her pet dogs and any strays that she happened upon. She also was a supporter of the Marion County Animal Shelter.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Mullins of Guin, Vester Lawrence, the father of her children, her daughter, Debbie Pate, her previously mentioned parents, and 6 brothers: James, Robert, Billy, Charles, Henry and Joe Stewart and sister Mary Gilbert.
Mrs. Mullins is survived by her son, Eddie Lawrence (Mikki), son-in-Law, Tony Pate; 5 grandchildren, Justin Nix (Tosha), Andrew Lawrence (Anna), Kara Beth Wall (Dave), Elliott Lawrence and Nathan Lawrence (Avery); and 14 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Truman Stewart, Jerry Stewart, 2 sisters, Betty Marcum, Louise Aldridge. She also is survived by the stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren of her departed husband, Bob Mullins.
Pall Bearers for the service are: Justin Nix, Andrew Lawrence, Elliott Lawrence, Nathan Lawrence, David Wall, Tyler Nix, and Trenton R***r.
Visitation and Service will be Thursday, November 14, at Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, Winfield, Alabama. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. followed by the service at 2 p.m.
Burial at Guin City Cemetery. Dr. Eddie Lawrence officiating.
