UPDATE — he is home and safe!!!🐾❤️🐾❤️

MISSING — Guin, AL (Marion County)
This dog is missing from off of Hwy 44 and the Wildwood Lane area. The family had come to this area to get away from the Hurricane in Florida so the dog is not familiar with the area. Owner has left clothes on the porch for the dog but he’s never been away from them. He is an intact male, approximately 45-50 lbs.
if seen or if you know where he is, please contact the owner at the phone number listed in the photo. The dogs name is ODIN

Ok my Hamilton, AL folks! I need help
in identifying these pups! They appear to be approximately 6 to 7 weeks old and are thankfully, semi healthy!
These pups were dumped at a medical clinic in Hamilton at the front door!
The clinic is going to be checking camera footage to see if we can figure out who dumped them.
If anyone knows ANYTHING about this, please contact us in a private message and your name will be kept confidential.
They were NOT dumped in this crate but thankfully, the employees have a heart and gathered them up, got them to safety until we could get them.
If we can obtain video footage of the offender, we will be pursuing charges!!!

[NOTE: This photo is just picture of a pond in the summer. NOT a picture of a pond with the toxin.] Cyanobacteria can have many different looks, including not being visible at all. Link to Kentucky Division of Water for more photos and information: https://eec.ky.gov/Environmental-Protection/Water/Monitor/Pages/HABS.aspx #:~:text=Harmful%20Algal%20Blooms%20Division%20of%20Water&text=A%20harmful%20algal%20bloom%2C%20or,skin%20in%20animals%20or%20humans.
"Death follows minutes to hours after exposure to a small amount of this toxin." As the weather gets hotter, ponds can start to have "algae blooms." The water itself can look like pea soup, or like green paint is spread on the surface of the water. Sometimes it is not visible at all. Some of these blooms are cyanobacteria, which can produce potent toxins. Dogs are exposed when they wade in the water and either drink the water directly, or lick it off themselves when they come out. There is no antidote; treatment is supportive and many dogs don't survive. If you believe your dog has been exposed, bathe him immediately. If he has any symptoms, bring him right in to a veterinarian. See comments for more information about signs and treatment. (Most ponds that look like this are not dangerous, but it is not possible to tell which ones are toxic and which ones aren't except by having the water tested; If in doubt, keep pets out.) Edited to add links to more pond phots.

Courtesy post!! Owners are looking to rehome these two beautiful German Shepherds.
From owner:

They are full blooded German shepherds. The male is 6 years old named Tank and loves people. If you sit down next to him he will try and sit in your lap and lick you to death.

The female is named Aria and she is about 4 years old. She is the same way Tank is with people.

They get along great together and generally gets along with other dogs, but Tank definitely doesn’t like any other dogs trying to be dominant over him and Aria doesn’t like cats.

They have had a couple litters together and all the puppies have been healthy. So we would like them to go to a new home together if it’s possible.

Here are a few pictures.

If interested, please contact Richard at 205-495-0998. Serious inquiries only please!!

Please understand that if you have an animal and it is tied up outside with no shelter, you can be expecting a visit from us if we are notified of it and you are in Marion County.
For many years now, we have pushed for stricter laws and enforcement of current laws on animal welfare!
Many feel this to be an invasion of privacy and/or disrespectful but what many don’t understand is, we WILL enforce the law when needed! PERIOD!!
