When we took Kira off the street we changed three lives that day. As well as Kira these two lovely boys will miss her greatly. They kept walking in front of the crate as we tried to put Kira in and were jumping up at us and attending to Kira. They will miss her as that is one less friend they have on the street

Welcome to this page which is one way we are trying to find 'A home for Kira'.

Kira is a Golden Retriever we found injured on the streets of Sharm el-Sheikh in January 2023 while we were helping Sibylle of Strays Sharm doing the rounds checking on the various dog packs.

To put it simply we have rescued her from the street and we are looking to find her a wonderful home in the UK.

Given her injuries we took Kira to a vet where she will be spending the first week of February healing and beginning the process of bringing her across to the UK in around four months time.

The picture on this post is from November 2023. Kira had been noticed as a new streetdog and was captured and neutered before being returned to the streets. That is the face we want her to have every day, not the pained, anxious one we found on an injured dog totally unsuited to living on the street.
