Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder were owner surrendered their Family unable to provide care for them anymore. Theyre both very matted and have f***l matter stuck to their back sides. Other than their physical appearance they seem to be pretty great pups. They’re Super sweet potty trained, love kids and other dogs.

Meet Finch 🐦
He is a 1 year German Shorthaired Pointer ✨
He is absolutely breathtaking, look at those eyes what an awesome heterochromia on him. He is ready to find a home of his own. He will be coming up very soon but needs a foster to adopt home to confirm his spot !

Finch is AMAZING with other dogs. He is great with kids and meeting new people. Unfortunately Finch is not able to be in a home with cats or with farm animals he has a prey drive.

He came from the streets of south Texas he was apart of a Dog pack that roamed the country side. There was a small new neighborhood that was built. The community of people living there wanted the dog pack that Finch came from to be picked up by the shelter some even threatened to shoot them. They made up tons of lies in order to convince animal control to take them. Thankfully we were able to get them out before they could be shot or picked up by the ACO’s.

Sloan was saved from the euthanasia list after being SHAVED BALD by animal control. Huskies are not supposed to be shaved The top coat, or "color coat", reflects the sun, and the undercoat insulates the husky from heat and cold. Shaving removes this natural insulation, making it harder for the husky to regulate its temperature in different seasons.

Right now Sloan has to wear Jammies because he shivers. Would anyone like to sponsor an extra set of Jammie’s for him 🩵?

Looking for a foster home without dogs for Ebony to rest up- she’s way too interested in playing with them, even right after anesthesia 🙄😂

You will just need to keep her chill, lots of crate rest, and she gets meds with both meals.

Update! This girl doesn’t even know she got hurt or went under anesthesia & has the sweetest, playful personality. She is available for adoption & also looking for a foster home with no dogs for just the next 10-14 days so she can rest up without wanting to play with all the dogs in her current foster home.

Miss Ebony is a 5 month old foster sweetness in Colorado and unfortunately is back in the hospital as her stitches opened. We haven’t raised enough for the first bill yet so please help if you can. Our ability to rescue animals depends on fosters homes and our ability to pay for the animals in our care 🙏

It’s Time to Bust this girl out of Boarding !
Ruby completed her Board and Train. It’s costing nearly $35 a day now that her training is over.
Ruby went through a $2,000 board and train (we are still paying off) so she is a certified good girl.

Would anybody be able to foster her so we can continue to look for a forever home ?

If you’re unable to foster but would like to sponsor a day or two of boarding we would very much appreciate it. 🩵🙌

We currently have 4 dogs who have came up with minor issues that needed correcting so they could find the perfect homes. Unfortunately this has caused a HUGE set back and is taking away from the rest of the dogs who still need supplies and vetting.

As a 501c3 we work hard to provide for the rescue our team has even gone above and beyond and helped cover some expenses out of pocket. We realize the importance of providing safe loving environments for these pups. For clarification each adoption fee barely covers a portion of the vetting we provide for each pup.

Miley was disregarded after her family moved away leaving her and her sibling behind. It was weeks before anyone realized they were still there.
The other dog who was left behind quickly found a rescue but Miley on the other hand struggled to be placed.

She is incredibly sweet , she loves dogs of all sizes. She loves to play but additionally has an off switch when it’s time to relax. Her current foster says Miley and her daughter love to play. Miley is so patient with children and doesn’t take to much time to warm up.

Miley doesn’t understand why she was abandoned and why she doesn’t get to see her sibling anymore. We hope we can bring back the light in Miley’s eyes with a forever family.

Meet Kenzie!

1.5 years, 40 lbs
Shepherd mix
Fully vetted (spayed, microchipped, HW negative, and up to date in all vaccines)

Kenzie was rescued from neglectful owners back in December 2023. Her neglectful owners kept her in a small crate where she almost had no space to move, and they apparently also didn’t feed her well, as she was very very skinny and was missing some hair. These people posted Kenzie on social media saying they couldn’t keep her anymore, and needed to re-home her; that if someone didn’t pick her by the weekend they would have to abandon her on the street. Someone shared the post about Kenzie with her San Antonio rescuer/foster who went to pick her up from some apartment downtown.
Kenzie was so sweet and grateful from day one. She didn’t make a noise and rode home on the passenger seat very well behaved and gentle. She has continued to be this way since then.
On the first trip to the vet it turns out her hair loss was due to stress, and now many months later with regular meals, love and kindness, Kenzie looks amazing!

Kenzie is now ready to find her forever home. She is a very sweet girl, affectionate, gentle, and kind. She is quiet, calm, and very well behaved. She is shy at first when she meets new people, but warms up nicely when people are nice and kind to her. Kenzie gets along very well with other dogs and cats, but prefers dogs who are gentle dogs like her. Kenzie enjoys going for walks, car rides, and just spending time with her family like laying on the sofa next to you watching tv or following you around the house. Kenzie’s energy level is average, she rarely barks, and has never chewed anything in her foster’s home.
Kenzie is looking for a good, loving home, where she will be loved, well taken care of, and treated as family.

Meet Ebony!

Ebony is a very smart and intuitive puppy. She is highly food motivated and learned to sit in just one day. Ebony is familiar with doggie doors also. She is always eager to run and play and often gets the zoomies She enjoys eating ice and will often sit at the refrigerator waiting for a piece when someone is getting ice. She loves to have her belly scratched and is just an overall sweetheart. Could Ebony be your favourite colour.

Meet Brownie!

5 months, 23 lbs
Lab mix?

Brownie is all boy! He will play and play until he falls asleep and then will wake up ready to play again. He loves a squeaky toy and to chase a ball. He is a big cuddler and loves to sit next to or near you. He is able to use a doggie door but hasn’t quite mastered “sit” just yet. He is a sweet and super lovable puppy.

Little Cosmo was evacuated with his sister Wanda right before the hurricane hit Texas. His “owners” tossed them out like they were nothing. Reason being “They no longer wanted them.” They knew they would not survive a flood. The smallest current would have Swept them away. Unfortunately Cosmo was hospitalized last month with “suspected parvo” while we think it’s possible it could have been a false positive because the symptoms only lasted 12 hours. He was also put on anti inflammatories because his wrist was swollen. It’s been over a month now and we have not seen any improvements in his wrist.

He was taken into the vet for X-rays but we were rescheduled for Friday. We are hoping to get answers and have him on his way to healing. His visit is not going to be cheap we pray he won’t need surgery.

Emma has Officially been searching for a forever home for 995 days 😭
She spent 600 days in a shelter in Texas with zero inquiries . We were asked to help Emma and after hearing how wonderful she is with people we could not let her be Euthanized. Emma is one of the hardest dogs to place for rescues because of the way she looks ❤️‍🩹
She would need to be an only pet in the home. We are hoping her forever home sees this and falls in love with Emma the way we have fallen in love with her. Not having a forever family is no life for a dog. We do not want her to grow old without knowing what it’s like to experience that embrace of true love.

Ariel is now ready for a forever family.
She is not currently in Colorado as of now we are seeking a confirmed adoption home before she is able to be transported.
Ariel is a 12lb Rat terrier. She is about 3 years old and was found as a stray in Texas after being tossed around by a car. She was very lucky to have not broken anything. Ariel is so loving she enjoys daily cuddles. She is potty trained and crate trained as well. As you can see Ariel has turned in her seashells for a nice business sweater. She hopes to be taken more seriously with her buisness casual outfits 🩵🧜‍♀️

Ariel is dog and cat friendly. She also loves children. Ariel takes only seconds to warm up to new faces and won’t take long to decompress. She would need to have a secured yard since she is a mini escape artist when given the opportunity she will squeeze through fences. She does wonderful on a leash as well.

Denver Friends , we are currently seeking permanent volunteers to assist the rescues adoption efforts to be able to appropriate handle the volume of dogs and cats our rescue is helping.
It has come to our attention that we are lacking the necessary help to run a successful non profit.
With that being said we have a high volume of applications coming in for certain dogs or cats. Please be patient with the adoption process. We do our best to reach out to everyone in a timely manner. I would like to publicly apologize to anyone who has had lack of communication from our small team as we are currently working out a few kinks.
Our main priority is safely placing the rescue dogs and cats in our care to avoid any future problems and to reduce the number of returns. I would like to remind everyone these dogs and cats come from horrible backgrounds some are not as bad as others but our goal is RESCUE, REHABILITATION, and REHOMING. We will continue to do the best we can to improve ourselves in the future. Thank you for the understanding and support.
