Hatch day! 🐣 At this stage I won’t be raising chicks to 6 week olds like I usually do but instead homing them as unsexed 3 day olds, 3 day olds to be sure they’re eating, drinking and healthy! You will of course need a brooder but if keeping baby chicks is something you’re interested in please keep an eye on my page, I’ll have both Silkies and D’Uccles available 😊

Clutch number 2 started hatching today ☺️

Just over 2 weeks old now and have been moved to the big brooder 😍

A couple of Belgian D’Uccles! Tiniest little chicks 🥰

My second little nakey 😍 I’m crossing my fingers that atleast one of these is a silky feathered roo 🤞🏼

This little nakey was my first to hatch! Isn’t it just divine? 😍 I’ll hopefully be keeping both NN at this stage to improve the lines.

I’ve been a little hush hush of late while I introduce some new lines and breeds 🤗 I will no longer be breeding frizzles but instead focusing more on silkies! The most exciting part of all is that I’ve started venturing into naked necks, which will hopefully become show girls in the future!! I have also started breeding a few Belgian D’Uccles here and there 🥰 These little guys are my first hatch in a while, most of which are looking like very nice silkies, with a couple of naked necks and D’Uccles thrown in there (separate videos of them to come) ☺️

It seems I marked the wrong date on the calendar 🤔 Hatch day came early 🤗🐣
