It is no secret that horses hold a special place in my heart and have done since time began. This may not make a lot of sense to some but to others it will. In general terms, I help horses face and release their emotional baggage. I do that by doing an energy healing on them called Reiki. Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a laying-on of hands technique thousands of years old. Reiki is a vibrational energy technique for improving and maintaining health by balancing the body’s energy system. Reiki is both powerful and gentle. It does not harm, even when the horse is releasing. It only heals. It is always beneficial and works to improve the effectiveness of all types of therapies.
With some horses, it can be as easy as eliminating toxins and old emotional debris from them. They may have a perfect life but small things like losing a paddock mate, an offspring, etc. can take its toll causing emotional blockages. Removing that gives them a new lease on life. An older can have as much debris as a younger horse that has been mistreated. I treat all horses.
Warning: With horses that have been mistreated, Reiki will bring up old pain but it will give them a brighter future. It isn’t an overnight process. It can take weeks or months but the end result is much better than where they were in the beginning.
Yes, I do Reiki, but I am not strictly by the books. I incorporate my own techniques to enhance the healing given. What I do cracks the horse right open which enables me to put them back together again. I’m taking the old debris and filling that hole with love. In a sense I’m reconfiguring DNA back to its original blueprint. I have noticed a huge shift in my horses since I have become more advanced in my skills. I am gentle because the world needs more people who are gentle with animals. Though I am gentle, I am firm. Firm doesn’t mean forceful.
If I have lost you, then think of it like this. You have been snowed under by emotions, so you go to see a psychologist. You talk about what is bothering you and once you have, you feel better by the time you leave. Horses don’t have that luxury; they can’t talk to you about their problems. The can only show it. Another way to look at it is you have had a hard week. Your job has been hard on you physically and emotionally. Come Friday afternoon, you book in for a massage. It gives you physical relief and you forget about your emotional problems for a few hours because you feel fantastic. Once that wears off, you’re still a mess emotionally. Now apply these to your horse, they will get physical relief from an Equine Therapist who focus on the physical body. But they will still have the emotional baggage once the relief wears off. That is where I come in. Not only do I help keep the physical body balanced, I go deeper into the horse’s energetic body and remove all the blockages.
I think physical therapies for horses are great. It has helped my mare to get back into physical alignment. When you add in Reiki, it helps keep the whole body both energetic and physical in harmony.
I must say it again. What I do isn’t an overnight process. It takes time just like any therapy but the results are amazing.
