Please spread the word for this lost dog. Kuma was LOST on July 31, 2024 in Brisbane, CA 94005 near Bayshore Blvd nr Old Country Rd, just north of Guadalupe pass, but south of San Francisco, and at north end of Brisbane
Message from Owner: Kuma was recently rescued from a shelter in S Cal and went with a foster in San Fran (N Cal). She supposedly escaped from the foster's car when they opened the door in the area noted. The foster did not tell the rescue for weeks of this though, but did make a Pawboost ad on or about 8-6 with a different name, but her picture. However, Kuma apparently went missing on 7-31 according to the foster who has only now provided minimal info. The foster stated there was an alleged sighting that someone saw her picked up a few days later by a pickup truck. We are unclear if credible or not, but if true, this person did not report her to AC, and she is a chipped to the rescue. We do not know if she is still roaming or was stolen, or is possibly dead sadly, or injured. Kuma is a little shy at first. Please contact us if seen or you know who may have her. Or if you know anyone in the area who can post signs as we are not local. The rescue is out of state so Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network is making this courtesy post in hopes of finding her asap. We are very worried for her safety. thank you.
Description: Kuma is a cream colored chow approximately 40 lbs who has a fluffy tail and longer coat. She is a bit skittish and may run.
