Just a quick note to all our clients - if you could be all ears please…(Thankyou for your attention Pugsley, our little mule menace!)
We are finishing up for this breeding season. Our last full day will be Wednesday the 31st January. If anyone requires scans after Wednesday (for pregnancy scans etc - no new breed preparations), we will still be available BY APPOINTMENT only until 12/2/24 or after 20/2/24. Today Hagons Equine welcomed a home bred mule into the family. Out of Mains Mortitia by Diamond Creek Moon-watcher (Moses). Formal name pending (although his Poppy has christened him Pugsley in the Addams Family tradition)
Took about an hour to get the strength to lift his ears up - and aren’t they a fashion statement!
He’s had most of the family visit him for family snaps today, and he and mum were happy to meet everyone. He’s working on his mule kick, although it’s a bit soft and welcoming at the moment….
In addition, he’s warming up his singing voice to bray the night’s away - a true neighbours’ joy in the making.

Hagon’s Equine are super proud of son Harry for preparing and presenting this lovely home bred gelding. Out of the most beautifuly natured campdraft winning mare Erin Play n Spin, by the super talented, challenge-winning late sire Smooth like Cactus. Spike is showing a natural ability on cattle, a great intelligence, and a huge willingness to learn and please. Don’t miss this opportunity to secure one of cactus’ few progeny.
