Since 1970 we've had an active Kennel of German Shorthaired Pointers. Our goal is to breed healthy, versatile and good looking GSPs, with balanced character, which perform their best both at work and in day to day family life.

We had friends over for a little training - and of course also for a little photo session with our E II-Litter pups (one is always happy for more hands to tame the little ones).

Puppies are growing like w**d - as you can see, it’s a very beautiful, equal litter with striking coloring / pigment / markings - they will be more or less ticked / with tiny spots.

With 24 days, they got their first real meat: minced beef with some goat milk and spelt flakes. Also, they ate standing together for the first time. Boy, did they enjoy! And mommy’s milk still is the best desert! ❤️

Our E-II-Litter pups are developing so nicely.
As you see, it’s a very equal litter with very nice dark brown pigment and mostly very light roan. On their 2-week-birthday, all were clearly above 1 kg and had opened their eyes.

Our pups had their first official date today - checking of the litter by breeding referent Stane Jarem of the Cynological Association of Slovenia.
He was impressed how equal the litter is and how far the pups are already developed. He praised our facilities and above all our Brynja for doing an amazing job as a mommy of 10 🙏💚🙏.

After her big successes as a puppy, our Nelli started for the first time in youth class at a show - being 10 months old.
At the CACIB in Wels she won it all under judge Marie-Luise Doppelreiter who was especially amazed by her beautiful head.
As the weather was turning bad, we didn’t wait until the BIS ring but hurried home - safety first.
And Nelli was happy to chew on her dried beef nose on the way back 😀.
Our Nelli was once again perfectly prepared for this show by our dearest Daniela from 5 Pet Stars salon. 🙏

Happy one-week-birthday to our E-II-litter 😍:

For this special day, we did a little photo shooting. All are developing really nicely, we will have more light ones and some bit darker, all have already nearly doubled their birth weight despite the large number of pups - Brynja simply is amazing!

Since we didn’t count on as many pups and for personal reasons / new import requirements, 2 females of this special combination are still available.

While our pups are growing and chilling in the whelping box, also normal life at our Kennel goes on. It’s the time of the group hunts, and it’s always a pleasure to have our Wirehaired Istrian Hound Dorli by our side: Great nose, stamina, orientation and hunting instinct paired with a clear, far hearable voice and quite some obedience for a hound dog.
She for sure was proud of herself after finding the rabbit and chasing it to the shooters.

On the second day, our Brynja already has established a routine with her pups: She opens the milkbar to certain times - so while some pups are sleeping, some are eating, and some minutes later it’s just the other way around.
All pups are sucking nicely and gaining weight, and Brynja is a devoted and caring momma! 🙏❤️🙏

The start of new lives always has something magical 🙏💚🙏:
Within six hours, our Brynja today gave birth to ten beautiful pups - six girls and four boys.
It was an easy labour despite the big number of pups. All of them are agile with strong sucking instincts. It’s a very even litter, and we couldn’t be more proud of our Brynja who is a perfect mom with strong natural instincts who didn’t need any help and even insisted that after six pups it was time for a little supper 😃.
Thanks to all who sent best wishes - and please keep fingers crossed that all will continue as smoothly! 🙏

Brynja had a little surprise for us today - the X-Ray showed quite some more pups than the vets initially thought regarding the ultrasound. 🤓
That’s why 1-3 pups from this highly promising combination might be still available.
Both parents have in addition to VGP also the blood tracking exam all in 1st prize - and Enzo also achieved the Kleemannsieger title after the breeding announcement was designed.

Very proud of our Ulric Echo Adin Dom in South Africa:
After already being certified as a disaster/rubble search K9 going into missions helping to find lost persons, he now also passed his wilderness search qualification.
The area he was tested on was very vast and tricky regarding natural obstacles and vegetation, but our boy managed perfectly.
Huge kudos to him and his owner and handler Mariann!

Pregnancy gymnastics:
The last two weeks have started, and our Brynja is doing extremely well enjoying little walks where she always manages to find some snipes.
We are really excited about her upcoming litter with Enzo KS Preussen Farben and were very happy to receive this beautiful pic of him from this year‘s Kleemann where he became second best male of 50 males altogether who participated at this highest trial.
