Gooooood boy Boaz Adin Dom!
Demonstrating his great skills at a small driven hunt 💪🏻💚💪🏻.
When you passed the autumn exam with flying colors - it’s time for some fun hunts 😀😎.
Our Blueberry (Blue) Adin Dom working on partridge …
And they say hound dogs don’t swim 🙃 …
Our Aston, not even 4 months old, conquering river Mirna 💪🏻
Over the moon to receive news from our pups and their offspring from abroad:
Our Vita Adin Dom joined the pack of Vikkas K9 in GB, a well-known company which trains working dogs in several fields for government agencies worldwide. She became their demonstration dog and also enjoys the life being part of her own family.
Since they are very satisfied with Vita‘s working abilities, form and character, they had a litter with her.
On this video you see her son Herman who works as an explosive detection dog for a government agency in GB. As he is also a great worker, smart, very nice-looking and with an excellent character, he himself is now a stud in Great Britain.
Proud that Adin Dom genes will spread also in England! 💚🙏💚
In our experience, one key to having successful hunting dogs is to support their natural traits from puppyhood on. This should be fun and adventurous for them - just like Ara enjoyed her first trip to the forest with her new owner Nina. They even found one hare, and Ara followed its track a bit and started to show some loudness already now with only 9 weeks. Very proud indeed 🙏❤️🙏!
Our Istrian hounds are 4.5 weeks now, and the socializing in all different fields has started:
Outside in the garden, on different undergrounds and objects, sounds, different kinds of visitors - and also other dogs in addition to her mom. Of course we only allow dogs from our pack to them for now - and our Spinone Italiano Elin turns out to be a great nanny. Amazed at how gentle and kind she is with the little ones, even making herself smaller for them. Gooood girl!
I am cute and I know it ..
Some of our brownies flirting with visitors.
Thank you dear Teja for the video 😍!
🎊🎉 Hot news from the European Dog Show in Herning/Denmark: 🚀🏵️
Our little one Brynja drove up north to present Adin Dom among the Creme de la Creme of the Show world - although we are not really part of that scene as we prefer hunting with our dogs 🤪. So the goal was not to be the last and possibly get the grade excellent.
What to say - in a very strong competition of Junior females (on both days the class with the most entered dogs of the breed) and with judges who gave „very good“ often, she managed to get placed every day and even got the Danish specialty of „Champion Quality“ for dogs of extraordinary quality which allowed her as a junior dog to run in the ring for best female where she even got placed 👏🏻😍👏🏻:
Day 1:
Excellent 2 / Champion Quality- Reserve Junior Winner / Reserve Cart - 4th best female of all
Day 2:
Excellent 4
We saw this as a great experience like taking part in the Olympics where to be part of it counts and never imagined to be graded so highly and even be placed.
Thank you so much to the honorable judges Michael Leonard and Wenche Eikeseth for valuing Brynja so highly and to our great Pia Grm Urbancic who handled her the second day - more pics to follow soon …
Great day spent with friends and dogs:
In an amazing area to train dogs on boars in Croatia, three youngsters from our B II-Litter (Bor, Blueberry and Brynja) had the chance to work on a 150 kg male boar. All of them showed very promising traits - finding the boar, being loud, trying to stop and / or get the boar to move. Of course we are very proud!
Also our other dogs as well as dogs from our friends worked very well, we all enjoyed home-made sausage, good Schnaps a and family-like atmosphere - thank you to all involved! 💚
With 5 months, our Brynja knows exactly how to conquer the water, what to look for and where the interesting things are hiding 😂 …
Checking first the water surface where before some wild ducks had swam - to searching through the reed like a tank. Shortly after this video, two ducks flew out of there. Good girl 👏🏻!
Some update from our Boaz who lives with his family in Belgium:
In addition to supporting his hunting traits, they have started to train some obedience with him.
He just turned 5 months old - good boy indeed!
This litter is simply amazing - doing crazy things already with not even 4 months of age.
Here you see Boaz who just moved to his family in Belgium …..
Our Brynja Adin Dom (3 months) received her free swimmer badge today 😃💪🏻.
Nothing had been thrown to get her into the water.
The last three who will travel to their new homes very soon are introduced to all kinds of game while they stay longer with us.
That also includes first pointings on field quail in our big voliere. They all show really promising traits - proud and happy 💪🏻💚.
Unfortunately the site only allows us to post one video. So here you see Bea - in the comments Boaz and Brynja.
Just a little teaser - still speechless about this great success of our Elin (Famose Elin zum Segeberger Forst) at her very first show weekend where she conquered the BIS ring winning junior BOG 7!
More detail to follow soon - very grateful to the honorable judges Alenka Pokorn and Vojislav Al Daghistani, to the amazing Pia Grm Urbančič and her team and to Angelika Jensen and Tim Fahner for breeding such a special dog like our Elin!
Ain’t no mountain high, ain’t no valley low, ain't no river wide enough, baby …
Very soon you will travel to the other side of the world - but you will keep a place in our hearts, dear Atlas.
We tried to give you all the best with you on your way and know you will enjoy your new great life in Australia. Stay a good boy - we know you will 💚💚💚
Atlas Adin Dom (Trisha Adin Dom - Dorian von den Donaumündungen):

12x JCAC, 12x JBOB, 2x BOB, 2x BOS, 4 x Junior BEST OF GROUP, res. BEST OF GROUP and JUNIOR BEST IN SHOW 3rd
The dream team in the ring was Atlas with dear Pia Grm Urbančič
Hot town, summer in the city …
The pups who stay a bit longer until they can travel to their new families already swam last Friday when they visited Zuzemberk.
Today we walked to the river next to our house as the current is not so strong anymore - and all pups again swam, all without splashing.
With fun and playing ideal foundations for enjoying the water are being laid.
Thank you to our dear friends Danijel and Petra with helping to have an eye on every pup! 🙏💚
As a breeder, you are always happy to get feedback showing that the plan you had in mind about a certain combination obviously worked out. Pups from our B II-litter already prove their traits and instincts:
Here you can see Bor (9 weeks old). His owner shot the roebuck this morning. Bor carefully inspected the area where the game was shot, found some blood and followed the short track.
Then when the owner took care of the meat etc., he patiently waited on his blanket and watched carefully (check comment).
Good boy Bor, we are proud of you! And thank you to his handler for giving him these opportunities!
Introducing - little Miss Keeper aka:
BRYNJA
(old Viking / Scandinavian name meaning:
shielding - armour)
With this name, she continues her mother‘s line tradition (her grandma is Rune - the Viking letter/sign, her mother is Vigga - a Viking warrior/shieldmaiden).
Welcome to the pack, little one! 💚💚💚
Early morning routine:
Puppies leaving their sleeping area around the whelping box to go outside and enjoy their breakfast.
Pups are 6 weeks old now, and in this important socialization period we try to get them used to many different things like all kinds of people, undergrounds, noises - and of course also other kinds of dogs. Our pack plays a big role in this period, and the best nanny for sure is our wirehaired Istrian Hound Dorli who is very friendly and patient yet clear in her communication. The pups adore her 😍🙏❤️!
We are happy to have a new generation of field quails in the making 💚😍💚- after growing and developing, big voliere is waiting for them outside.
Pups are five weeks now and broaden their horizon every day. Yesterday they were introduced to an alive quail - they were soo excited and proved their good noses already.
Since we have sun and quite warm temperatures the last days, they spend some time in the big outside area everyday. After that, they know their way back to their sleeping area by heart already. And like kids, they sleep so well for some hours after their outside adventures 💚💚💚.
It’s the time to learn and see new things everyday: Pups with 3.5 weeks of age enjoyed their first time outside in the spring sun with their mom 💚😎💚.
It’s not easy being a momma and the kids walk all over you 😂
