With 2024 behind us, I am eagerly anticipating what 2025 will bring
The experiences I will encounter as a small business owner have been interesting. I faced a minor setback this year, but it wasn't too severe, and I managed to bounce back. This year will be different. I'm no longer based at Heart to Home because they are reorganizing their business to focus on outside markets, which I hope to join. Last year, I performed well at all the craft fairs I attended. My small Etsy shop is doing quite well.
This year, I have some fresh ideas I want to pursue. I'm researching a topic I'm quite passionate about, hoping it will be successful for me. I'm also evaluating what doesn't sell well and planning to phase those items out. For instance, the wood signs I make aren't very popular. Similarly, the snuffle mats aren't performing well, but the snuffle balls are doing exceptionally well. Believe it or not, they are among my best-selling items.
I'm thrilled about this year and the possibilities it holds for my business. Last year was a significant learning experience for me. I discovered how to reduce spending on materials and make the most of what I already have. I can confidently say I'm very excited for this year.
